《My Unconventional Delivery System! 》Chapter 31: Divinity

"Hooh~ that was satisfying I've always wanted to do that." Kyle muttered. He was pretty damn satisfied wiping that emo psychopathic bastard out of this world, he didn't feel the slightest guilt or disgust at killing him, the bastard deserved it.
He turned around and approached both Kochō sisters; approaching closer he noticed something different in their gaze.'Why are they looking at me with such awe and respect? They're expression is pretty similar to a devoted believer of christianity meeting Jesus… no way, I'm probably just imagining things again.'
Kyle glanced at Kanae's direction, his tone was one of worry as he asked the obvious. "Kanae, is your eyes okay? Sorry about not taking action sooner, if I had only realized sooner that you'd use that technique that destroys your eyesight I would have killed him the moment he arrived. Again, I apologise, I hope you'll forgive me."
He spoke till here, quickly realising his mistake by the look of Kanae's eyes, the emotions, the awe and respect in them had strengthened to a greater degree, it was evident he had stated something only Kanae should know and now she might've misunderstood something again. Shinobu on the other hand, was filled with shock at Kyle's sudden, definitely unexpected, revelation.
"Y-you already know about my Final Form of Flower Breathing: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye's side effects? As expected.. you truly are-" any praise and flattery she might have to offer was cut off by an angry Shinobu's shout.
"Onee-san! Why are you using such a dangerous technique?! Do you want to become blind?!" Shinobu was extremely worried. Why wouldn't she be? No one wanted their family, the people they loved and cared about to become crippled.
Kanae could only smile bitterly at her little sister's inquiries, she didn't have a choice at that time. That technique was her greatest chance of survival and she had thought of being alive to be much more important than being crippled, which was equally true and not.
Additionally she didn't think that Kyle, a God, would lower himself to help her, he had already done enough. She couldn't be blamed for her actions, every single one of them had rationality backing them with the intent of survival being the final reinforcement.
The worst possible situation didn't occur and that was good enough. She didn't become blind thanks to Kyle, however her eyesight had become slightly blurry, even though she had used the technique for not more than 10 seconds. The side effects were just too harsh.

Her eyes were still in a perpetual throbbing pain, it's better than the initial pain but pain there still remains, thinking till here she replied to Shinobu, helplessness rippling in her voice. "I had no choice Shinobu… it was the only option available. I used that technique so that we could have a higher chance of survival at that time my thoughts were, even if I didn't survive at least you and Kyle-sama could… and I believe that I did the right thing."
Shinobu couldn't refute Kanae, she was right however even so…!
"Onee-san! No one asked you to do it!"
"True, you didn't. It doesn't mean that you didn't need it. It was my only option at that moment Shinobu please try to understand."
Both of the sisters were having an intense debating session with each other, constantly trying to prove each other wrong, Kyle could only smile wryly at this sight. 'Why are they fighting over something that has already passed? I don't get it.. I should stop them before things get worse though.'
"Hey, hey! Both of you little girls stop fighting! There's no point in fighting over something that has already passed, even if you want you can't change it now, can you? I know that you're worried for each other and I do understand that. To me though this fight looks childish, this is simply pointless and a waste of time, I thought you guys were more mature than your peers but I guess inwardly you're still little girls."
And then he thought. 'The last lines are a bit embarrassing to say since I am the same, I would never admit them though!'
Both Shinobu and Kanae were silent, they couldn't refute him, he was right about this.
Both of their cheeks flushed in deep embarrassment, not even daring to look at him in the eyes anymore. This wasn't his intentions but if this would stop them from fighting then he would be satisfied nonetheless.
Shinobu and Kanae were still looking down on the ground, still embarrassed to raise their heads, Kyle on the meantime was inspecting Shinobu's body. He wasn't being lecherous, he had zero lustful thoughts, he was just thinking over the fact that Shinobu was the same height as Meru, but the differences in their chest area was apparent.
Shinobu was still a teenager at least 3-5 years younger than Meru, yet her breasts were already visible. Small budding protrusions could be seen in her chest indicating that they have started to form something that was unnoticeable on Meru. 'It must've been genetics.. no wait her sister's height is actually average.. so why is Shinobu so short?'

But then an unexpected bout of enlightenment hit him. 'Ah! All the nourishment must have gathered in her breast rather than being directed to her height!'
The more he thought about it the more it made sense, meanwhile Shinobu still looking down felt a sudden bout of irritation for some reason she began to mutter. "Someone must be insulting me…"
"Shinobu what are you saying?"
He heard it loud and clear, and sweat gathered in his forehead. 'Damn what kind of accurate instinct is this?! How could she know?! Damn that sixth sense of women.'
"Ahem- Shinobu you must've been imagining things."
"Is that so?" Shinobu asked suspicions still lingering in her mind, but since Kyle spoke she believed. There was no way a God would lie to a mere mortal like her! There was no reason to do that.
She was wrong, very much so, but she would never know, Kyle's system announced, very abruptly too, that he already completed the delivery order.
[ Ding! You have Completed your delivery order! ]
[ You have 10 seconds to get ready to go back to your world please drive your motorcycle for 100 meters straight! If you don't you'll be staying in this world forever. ]
Seeing this Kyle hurriedly said. "It was nice meeting you both! However I have to return now, goodbye, take care and please give me a 5 star review for my service!"
Kyle jumped through his motorcycle, and started to activate the engine.
Broom! Broom!
He swiftly turned his motorcycle around and drove straight without stopping!
While he was driving, he heard Shinobu's abrupt shout. "Kyle-sama! I'll be sure to make your religion and spread your teachings for your future followers!"
He heard her words clearly, shock rippling in his mind, he wanted to clarify but was too late to do so.
"What?! Ar-" He couldn't finish his sentence as he was sucked by the spatial magic.
..
..
"Doma is dead? To think someone could kill an Upper Moon Demon… it's been about a hundred years since the last time someone killed one… who is it I wonder?" A woman with long tied black hair, wearing a black yukata with colorful floral design along with it, stated.
Her eyes were ruby red and each had a slit similar to that of a cat, she was looking at the slowly rising sun. "I should take shelter…but whoever killed Doma... I'll find out soon."
She instantly disappeared from her location, going to an unknown place.
..
..
..
Kyle arrived at his home world, however he still hadn't moved for a few minutes, he was busy recalling Shinobu's last words.
"What the hell was she saying? making my own religion? But I already have a religion and am a bonafide Christian... Also what does she mean to spread my teachings?! I never taught her anything!"
It took him a while to get over with this issue, and some more finally to ease his mood. He decided receive his rewards.
"System! Show me my rewards."
[ Congratulations, Host! You have received a 5 star rating from Kochō Shinobu! ]
[ You have received a Lottery Ticket (Silver-Tier) x1 for being successful in delivery! ]
[ Ding! An unexpected occurrence was detected during your delivery service! ]
[ Congratulations Host You Have Gained The Blessing (Divinity)!]
[ Congratulations Host You Have Successfully Become A Minor God! ]
Kyle was dumbstruck at this unexpected development, the circuits of his brains shut down, his mind became blank and he was frozen in place unable to even move for a long time. Thank God (Kyle) he was in a parking area.
( `END` )
( E/N :- Let me explain a bit about his (Divinity). It's not an OP as it might seem, it doesn't give him any strength. But it still gives him some boosts. For one he is now exempt any and all illnesses and disease.
Also he's now a semi immortal. A non aging entity, well he'll age till he reaches his prime but still pretty ageless. He won't die of old age and only fatal injuries or curses from higher beings is able to kill him.
Additional information will be given on how he gained (Divinity) the next Chapter.
Oh right I almost forgot, (Divinity) also added some charm buffs so basically before he was 6/10 now he's 7/10. No good could be ugly as Shinobu has stated, so he shan't be ugly.
Meh, boy is almost handsome! XD )

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!
