Kyōka cleared her throat and started to explain. "Bakugyaku Festival is a sports festival at our school. It's a gathering of first and third-year students where the top 5 students of the first and third years are paired up. Each pair competes against the others to clear a set of challenges, the winning pair is given the right to create a new school rule of their own. I participated last year but it's just too bad that I couldn't win against Ren... I'd like to fight her again."

Hearing her explanation, he suddenly remembered that festival, although his memories became better, he couldn't remember everything back in his previous life, some are fuzzy and some are clear, suddenly he realized something. "Shiryū Chō? Are you sure that it isn't Tachibana Rintaro?"

"Tachibana Rintaro? Who is that? Never heard of that person, wait let me check." Suddenly she took out her phone and called someone.

After a moment of talking with someone on the phone, she put the phone back in her pocket, then she looked at him and said,

"There is indeed someone named Tachibana Rintaro who had transferred her but…"

"But?" He was waiting for her answer, he was very curious to know what happened to the original protagonist of the story.

"He immediately transferred to another school a day later!"

"I know, I know you don't have to explain geez, I was just teasing you a bit...I didn't think you would react this much... honestly it's cute." He smiled at her.

"C-cute?!" She never had once thought that somebody would ever call her 'cute', but above all the one who told her that word is a person that she had felt with, if it was a random stranger who said that, she would probably be a little surprised, however, in this case, it was the person she had a crush on!

She couldn't help but be flustered, she started to twist her hair, then she said with a shy voice. "T-thank you…"

"..." He was speechless at this sudden turn of events, all he did was say a common compliment and then look! The result is way too much!

Suddenly a familiar voice interrupted the weird atmosphere between both Kyōka and Kyle.

"Oi! Oi! Flirting without me?! Me too! This is unfair!"

Both of them shifted their attention toward the voice direction, they saw Meru approaching him, suddenly she hugged his right arm tightly.

"Meru, can you stop hugging my arm?" He sighs helplessly, although he already gave them his permission, still, it's annoying.

"Ehhh...you don't like it?"

"No, it's not like I don't like it...okay I'll be honest here I'm fine with you guys flirting with me, but please refrain from doing it in public can't you see many eyes are into us?"

Hearing him, everyone in the classroom shifted their head somewhere else, they thought. 'He noticed us staring at them!'

"You got a point...it's a bit embarrassing..ahem- forget it." Meru stopped hugging his arm.

"As long as you understand."

1 second, 2 seconds, 3 seconds both Kyōka and Meru realized something, both of them screamed.

"HAAAAAHHHHH??! WAIT! DID YOU JUST SAY?! You're allowing us to flirt with you?!"

He stared at them with a deadpan expression and said. "You guys just realized? I mean if I didn't...your 'plan' wouldn't have been so smooth."

"T-that's true...I didn't think of that…"

"No wonder you didn't resist! Wait, so this means you're giving me a chance?" Kyōka realized the most crucial point.

Kyle nodded and replied. "Yeah, that's right...I know this is a bit unique, yeah, normally guys should be doing what you guys are doing right now, but in our situation, it's the opposite...hmm I feel like I'm representing Kazuma's advocate of gender equality flag…"

"Who is Kazuma?"

"A person that needed to be respected." He said that with all seriousness.

Hearing that both Kyōka and Meru stared at each other with confusion, it didn't last long because they had been given a chance to woo him!

This wouldn't want to screw up this opportunity!

Unexpectedly someone shouted Kyle's name outside their classroom.

"Class 3-B Kyle-senpai! Are you here aru!"

He shifted his head toward the direction of the voice, and lo and behold Shiryū Chō! His partner in the upcoming festival.
