《Naruto: Dream to Immortality 》Chapter 2: About your father...

She's so easy to read... I hit a sensitive matter... And I got her nervous. I've got to tread carefully so as to not raise any eyebrows. I really don't want any dangerous situation to develop. But I also need to know about my father if he was also an Inuzuka or did he have some other heritage that could help me advance in strength faster.
My mother Misune sits down on the couch, makes a sad smile and says with a broken voice and tears almost out of her eyes. "Well... honey... About your father... He was a ninja of Konohagakure..."
I immediately put on the mask of an amazed child as I say. "Wow that sounds cool! What's a ninja mommy...?"
I acted like I didn't know. My knowledge mustn't be known to anyone else except me.
She looked extremely uncomfortable and made no effort to hide it... Taking a risk here, but let's see if it pays off...
*Sniff*
Tears started appearing as she said in a sad voice. "Well a ninja is a great hero who protects the village".
...
She handled it better than I thought... She does love me... Good, it'll make it so much easier to move forward with my plans.
A difficult relationship with her would suppose a much-unwanted hindrance in the beginning... And for my plan the first years are critical...
...
"Was daddy a strong hero?"
*Sniff* *Sniff*
While trying to keep herself from crying in front of her child Misune just says. "He..."
She is too saddened to answer me. She still isn't giving me the information I want. And I'm growing tired of her sobbing, to be honest...
...
Using a faked enthusiasm the kind used to fool children. She has a very fake smile on her face as she continues saying.
"Yes, he was strong! He was a chunin, a middle-ranked ninja. His name was Yami Inuzuka, I named you after him, to honor his memory..."

Then she continued. "He... died... protecting everyone in the village... You.. weren't born yet..."
...
When she said that it was hard to keep the disappointment out of my face... I was hoping for him to at least be a jonin or something but was a mere chunin who probably died in a mission gone wrong... well I can't say I wasn't disappointed that I didn't have some type of hidden Uchiha or Senju heritage... but I guess I am still in a better situation than your average civilian... not too much better... but better nonetheless..
In all honesty, I figured her for a single mother since day one... And knowing my father's fate is good, but I'm not taking her word for granted...
In this world everyone keeps secrets, and I'm going to be prepared for all kinds of nasty surprises... Like a supposedly-dead father appearing later on and messing up my plan...
Probably not the case, but better safe than sorry.
...
Well now I better start the next phace of my plan. "Wow I also want to be a ninja! Like dad!! It sounds so cool...!"
'I need her to get used to the idea of me being a ninja so she doesn't forbid me from going to the academy... Luckily for me, she's as malleable and docile as it gets...'
My new mother just has an uncertain look on her face as she says. "Look, I will allow you to enter the ninja academy, but only if you manage to impress me. Sounds good?"
I just smile excitedly on her and hug her very tightly full of faked love. "Yay!! Thanks mom! I'll make sure to impress you!!"

-(One week later)-
...
I heard that the Clan Head just had a daughter. We all went to the birth party (clan heads celebrate when it's their firstborn).

There I saw a lot of civilian Inuzuka and ninja Inuzuka with their ninken (dogs). There were at least 500 people in the restaurant. A huge difference from my first birthday party, that had a maximum of 20 people.
Then as this party got boring (5 minutes in...) I was trying to hear anything useful. I overheard the Clan Head talking with somebody who I could see was trying to flatter him. The guy was a professional *ss kisser.
The unimportant guy just said. "What a cute baby girl you have there Inuzuka-sama! I know she will become a great ninja! May I know her name?"
The Clan Head looked annoyed. "Her name is Tsume. Now would you get out? Or do I have to tell my dogs to it? I don't want my daughter to be around beta males like you."
The guy looked scared and went away
Ah, I see... that little baby was Tsume, the mother of Kiba. Well, that's quite interesting... It seems like I have some time before the Third and Fourth Ninja Wars. I am not quite sure if the Second Ninja War has already started, and I don't remember if Tsume was born before or after it did... I don't have a photographic memory so I can't remember everything that happened before the Canon of Naruto...
Well, it doesn't matter I will learn about which exact time I am in the academy...

-(Time Skip. Age 3 years old)-
I have advanced my training in chakra control, I can now stick leaves all over my face and my arms.
My chakra pool has also increased. I can keep doing the leaf-sticking exercise until I have around 5% of my chakra reserves. If It goes any lower I'll start feeling light-headed.
Now that I am 3 years old, I have started jogging. Chakra use really does miracles with one's physique.
...
...
...
-(Time Skip. Age 4 years old)-
...
Now I have started doing push-ups and exercising in the monkey bars in the park.
My agility and stamina have increased to something that should be impossible for a modern-earth man. I tried doing the tree-walking exercise on my bathroom walls... And I'm not ready for that yet... I have the right chakra control but not enough body strength... also how does gravity even work on this world...
I can at least stick my feet to the ground using the same principle. Kind of like walking... if someone punches me I can stand in placce and increase the damage the puch does to me... well I didn't say this technique was good...
...
...
...
-(Time Skip. Age 5 years old)-
...
I am finally able to do the tree walking exercise. I have also easily convinced my mother (as expected) to allow me to get into the academy.
I accomplished that by telling her how much I wanted to become strong, so I could protect her and the village that I love. Of course, I could care less about her and the village.
This place is one full of propaganda and fake love. Itachi killed his whole family just because of the so called idea of the Konoha Village being like a big family...
So I don't care about anyone in the village... but I do care about getting stronger though... A lot stronger... in order to... reach my dream... to Immortality...
