His younger brother was tending on the few potted plants that they placed near the window while Wenren Yu was resting near the fire place.

"Yun, I'm home!"

"Brother, you're late." Lin Yun turned around to look at his brother then to the basket behind Lin Xiao. "Did you manage to join the hunting squad."

"No, that bastard Su Han makes it impossible to join," Lin Xiao said with clear annoyance. He proceeded to tell the other two what had happened while he cleaned three fishes for their dinner tonight. The rest of the fishes were left inside the basket that Lin Yun filled with water to keep the fish fresh.

After hearing what had happened, Lin Yun was speechless. "He's still searching for trouble?"

"As usual." Lin Xiao played with his knife and cut the fish's skin carefully. "Should I just scream to his ear that I cared nothing for that pampered Xu Qin?"
