Lin Xiao smiled bitterly. After advancing to Foundation Establishment, Fan Ling's temper was worse. It was to the point that he felt it was really astounding. She was so reckless and violent, totally unlike normal girls.

Of course, he would never mention it unless he was itching for a beating from her.

"What's your plan right now? I mean, how do you plan to figure out when they want to hold the meeting?" Fan Ling asked while rubbing her fan, lamenting the fact that she couldn't just barge in and tried to get close.

"I know a harmless method."

"Huh?"

"Follow me for now."

Leading the others, Lin Xiao headed to the back alley. He had never contacted Zhongsun Shan and Qiu Si after separating from them. Now thinking about it, how were their condition now?

The two houses were still in good condition. However, Han Jiang was looking at the place with a frown. "What are we going to do here?"

"This is my house." Lin Xiao pointed to one of the houses. Afterwards, he walked to the other one and knocked.

"Yes?"

"Miss Qiu Si?"

"Who is it?" Qiu Si opened the door and saw the group before her. Looking at Lin Xiao, who hadn't changed that much after several years, her eyes widened in surprise. "Lin Xiao?"

"Hey Miss Qiu. Is your husband here?"

"He's in the auction house because there's work today." Qiu Si smiled, giving off the impression of a kind young lady. She welcomed them inside and then looked at the other two insides. "Sui Wenyan, Wenren Yu, your friends have arrived."

"Ah?"

Sui Wenyan opened the door and looked at them. Her eyes widened in surprise before she smiled brightly. "Master, you're back."

"En." With a swept of his gaze, Lin Xiao was sure that Wenren Yu was already close to break through while Sui Wenyan was already at Golden Core Stage. One year and a half had passed and it seemed that their progress was bountiful.

"I heard about what you did to Yue Da Sect. What did you find from them?"

"Ah, we figure out their plan back then." Sui Wenyan welcomed them to sit down while Qiu Si was also preparing some food. While they were already advancing, it was clear that Qiu Si still didn't manage to make her breakthrough yet. In fact, she looked like she had been hitting a bottleneck.

Wenren Yu noticed Lin Yun and his eyes widened in disbelief. He knew Ln Yun progress better than anyone because when he first came, Lin Yun was not even as strong as Lin Xiao. But now that he looked at this youngster again, it was clear that Lin Yun had already advanced to Golden Core Stage.

"How come you're so fast?" Wenren Yu asked at Lin Yun.

"My brother found a plant that's suitable with me." Lin Yun grinned. It was partially luck that his brother managed to find it.

Wenren Yu blinked his eyes and then pointed at Fan Ling. "And here I thought that the two of you make out…."

With one punch, Wenren Yu was sent flying. Lin Yun's face was red because he did figure out about Fan Ling's physique not long ago. However, he had no intention to get close to her just because of it and wanted them to be like normal couple. But of course, that was a matter of other time.

Lin Xiao sighed when he saw them and focused to the story that Sui Wenyan told them. It turned out that the plan was as simple as barging in. They didn't really need to do anything special because the other sects nearby wouldn't make their moves and those other forces were silenced. 

"The Royal Family is the one behind it?" Lin Xiao asked in a low tone.

Sui Wenyan nodded and sighed. "There are several factions in the Royal Family and one of them is dissatisfied with how things are going on with Taiyi Sect. As the result, they ordered the three sects to make a move against the sect and annihilated everyone who were affiliated with them."

"Which one?"

"The one who followed Lin Bo Wang."

Lin Bo Wang… Lin Xiao had heard his name a few times in the past but he didn't know much about this prince. Unlike the other two princes whom he had met before, this prince was always so silent that there were not even any ripples of his news. However, it was clear that he was one of the few who had the most followers and supporters behind his back.

After all, there was one incident when he confronted with Prince Lin Fei and the result was that the two of them tied. That was the moment when no one dared to underestimate this seemingly quiet prince.

"His parents?"

"His parents are the third prince but they have already died when Lin Bo Wang was young. He's now under the care of the Fifth prince and also have some other princes' help to stabilize his current position."

"Who are they?"

"Aside from the Emperor… there's no clear indication of the others."

Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows. He thought that the Emperor would favor his own son, but it turned out that he was actually leaning toward another prince?

"Why is he helping another prince and not his son?"

Sui Wenyan shook her head. "I don't know for sure. Probably we're going to need to try our luck in asking the three sects when they gathered together."

"Ok. By the way, how's the ability of the Yue Da Sect?"

Hearing that, Sui Wenyan tilted her head. "Well, just average. You don't have to worry so much about Yu Da Sect either. They're not going to go against you nor worth so much anymore."

"I already killed the leader and the internal dispute made it impossible for anyone to survive there. Only some elders were escaping towards Wang Luo Sect and we're all going to kill them soon too."
