Lin Yun noticed his brother's gaze and felt like letting out an awkward laugh. He could see that Lin Xiao never thought about it too much as he simply asked those who followed him to be loyal to him and that was all.

He didn't care for their past but if they wanted him to help them, he would. If they didn't want him to know, he wouldn't ask.

It was good and all because Lin Yun felt Lin Xiao was close to them but at the same time, it roused another question within his heart. How much would his brother trusted them in the important matters?

He had grown up with Lin Xiao, so he could see that his brother was the type that would not trust anyone easily like that either and put his life on other people's hand. However, he had seen that Lin Xiao trusted them a whole lot.

Lin Xiao looked at Lin Xiao then at Fan Ling, who was staying beside him. He then glanced at Princess Lan Yi Hua who stood silently there. The two girls were not saying anything but it was clear that they were also curious about the answer that Lin Xiao would give.

"If it's you three, I know I can trust you." Lin Xiao looked at them and faintly smiled. "Probably not all of my private matters will be made known to my brothers but I don't have any intention to hide some things from you."

Lin Yun nodded. He definitely would never ask about Lin Xiao's relationship with Princess Lan Yi Hua either. It would be breaching his brother's privacy and it was not something he wanted.

"If I ask you to trust me with your life, will you, Bro?"

Lin Xiao looked at Lin Yun and tilted his head. "Sure."

The answer was short and concise that Lin Yun nearly chocked on the air. Did his brother not feel anything from such important question? From the way it looked like, Lin Xiao didn't seem to think of it as something important.

Looking at his younger brother, Lin Xiao felt a bit funny. "Didn't we already show each other's back during fight a lot?"

Right.

Lin Yun was often there when Lin Xiao was still weak and had to tend on his big brother's wounds. The two brothers were already a brother of life and death and naturally Lin Xiao trusted his younger brother as much as Lin Yun also trusted him.

"But of course, this will not apply to others." Lin Xiao passed an apologetic look at Fan Ling.

He trusted her to some degree but not completely.

As for Wenren Yu and Sui Wenyan, probably only to some degree too as Lin Xiao never divulged the matter of this technique to them.

This trust, Princess Lan Yi Hua vowed to herself that she would never betray him. She would not say this out loudly but she would prove it to him with her action that she would always stay by his side.

"Is this answer good enough, Lin Yun?" Lin Xiao looked at his younger brother and asked once more.

Lin Yun nodded. "That's good enough."

Probably, this was also the reason why Lin Xiao still didn't tell them about his real identity as Emperor's Inheritance's Inheritor. The only ones who knew about this matter was only Lin Xiao's real blood related brothers, him, Princess Lan Yi Hua, and probably Xia Ye?

He was not sure about Xia Ye, though.

As Lin Yun watched his brother walked in while Princess Lan Yi Hua chose to pick a seat to wait for him, he smiled lightly. He then passed a look at Fan Ling. "About my brother… he's…"
