The elders didn't know but the two entourage did meet right in front of Fan Family gates.

Lin Xiao noticed a young man in his twenties walking towards the gate. He had the air of a powerful expert and at the same time, an unapproachable man. However, if one didn't pay him any close attention, they wouldn't even be able to detect him in the crowd.

The young man had handsome appearance but as he walked, he attracted no attention. Only Lin Xiao seemed to be looking straight at him directly when he saw the other party.

The young man, Fan Pan, looked at Lin Xiao for a moment before he cupped his fist. "May I know if there's anything you need from me?"

It was only after the young man spoke did Princess Lan Yi Hua, Lin Yun, and Lu Jian noticed him. They were looking in his direction with a dumbfounded expression as if they were seeing a strange thing.

If not for him talking, they wouldn't notice him even if he was standing before them.

What kind of sorcery was that?

"This is Fan Family gates and I'm wondering whether you're part of the family or not since I'm thinking of visiting them," Lin Xiao replied with a smile.

Inside his mind, Lin Hu interrupted, "Be careful."

"Hmm? Is he that dangerous?"

"He had special cultivation that might be a bad match for you."

Lin Xiao's heart tightened slightly as he became warier. However, he still looked at the young man in front of him with a polite smile. In front of his friends, it didn't matter much even if he messed up but in front of his enemies, he must not show any weakness!

"My name is Fan Pan, and you're….?" Fan Pan looked at Lin Xiao with inquiring expression. There was no contempt or even disdain that was usually present in many other people when they were looking at Lin Xiao for the first time. After all, Lin Xiao was still being the skimp he usually was, dressing in clothes that didn't actually worth much.

Lin Xiao himself didn't care much about the brand of his clothes and only thought that as long as it was good enough to wear, it was good.

Thus, many other vain cultivators often looked down on him because of his appearance.

"My name is Lin Xiao. Nice to meet you, Fan Pan," Lin Xiao also greeted the other party politely.

"Let's come in."

"Thank you for your hospitality."

Fan Pan merely nodded as they walked inside. Behind him, Princess Lan Yi Hua was staring at Fan Pan's back as her palm began to sweat. There was some kind of indescribable unease that she felt from Fan Pan.

When she couldn't sense him, she didn't know anything. But after she could sense his presence and talked to him, there was discomfort and unease. It was also similar to that feeling of danger.

Was this man so dangerous even for her?

Princess Lan Yi Hua kept her thought inside her mind as she followed Lin Xiao and the others inside. The guards were also very respectful to Fan Pan even though they felt that the youth had changed. 

It didn't take long for them to reach the main hall.

Fan Ling's eyes widened when she saw Fan Pan walked inside with Lin Xiao walked beside him and the others behind them. She even felt that her eyes were playing tricks with her because it was hard to believe that Lin Xiao would walk with Fan Pan knowing full well that Fan Pan was someone by Prince Lin Bo Wang's side.

"Grandfather, Father, Elders, I'm back." Fan Pan cupped his fist. His greeting was done in flat tone without any feeling whatsoever. 

It was so cold.

"You've finally returned back! Brother, Fan Ling want to challenge you because she didn't want Fan Family to be in… ugh, I mean she didn't want you to be the next successor for the head seat." Fan Pei had no choice but to change his words at the last moment because his father was glaring at him.

He couldn't be spewing nonsense in front of everyone and possibly destroy all kind of images he had.

Fan Pan looked at his younger brother then turned to look at Fan Ling. Right now, Fan Ling was also staring at him, no, she was looking at the person beside him.

"Your Highness, you've come so early."

Fan Pan looked at Lin Xiao from the corner of his eyes. So this person, whom he met in front of the door was also another prince in Sun Kingdom who could notice him even though he tried to stay invisible all the time. 

"I got news from you." Lin Xiao then glanced at Lu Jian. It didn't seem to be over, yet?

Lu Jian smiled helplessly. Fan Ling did tell him that it was done just a few minutes earlier. How could he possibly know that she didn't mean that everything was done but only about to be over?

"Fan Pan, I would like to be the next successor in Fan Family, would you like to have a fight for that?" Fan Ling asked directly.

Fan Pan's eyes swirled with thoughts before he chuckled lightly. "Since it's what my little cousin wants, how can I reject you?"

"In that case, please."

"Let's head over to the arena." Old Master Fan also looked at Fan Pan curiously. Many years ago, Fan Pan was already one of the few great geniuses within Fan Family. It was to the point that he felt Fan Family was so lucky.

However, Fan Pan was a quiet person and didn't like to speak much. Unlike the two faced Fan Pei who often acted like a scholar but his true nature was that of a noisy brat, Fan Pan was always genuinely alone. He didn't like to stay with other people and prefer solitude. 

He wanted to know how much Fan Pan had grown over the years.
