"If it's left to you, do you really think that you can do it?" Lu Jian passed a glance at Fan Ling as if challenging her.

Fan Ling glared at Lu Jian, but she also knew that it was true. When it came to deal with something like this, Lu Jian was much better than her. However, how could she possibly take this lying down?

"Hmph, if you really want to guard this place, enter Golden Core Stage 1 first, idiot!"

Lu Jian was stumped then his face turned awkward…. Right, he was still at Foundation Stage and certainly couldn't be compared to the others. Looking at the other three looking in his way… he vowed to make his breakthrough to Golden Core Stage before it was the time for the battle ranking.

There should be enough time.

"In the meantime, what do you want to do, Your Highness?"

"Get married, of course." Lin Xiao grinned. He didn't want other people to covet what was his, so he wanted to make her his first.

The others were stumped and Princess Lan Yi Hua was looking at Lin Xiao speechlessly. How in the world did he come to that decision so quickly just like that? But it was not like they were not planning this for quite some time.

"Do you want to make it grand?" Fan Ling asked quietly.

"That's…" Lin Xiao looked at Princess Lan Yi Hua, asking for her opinion. Princess Lan Yi Hua would be deciding on this because he didn't really care whether a wedding was grand or not. In his opinion, as long as he could get her, it was all good.

On the other hand, Princess Lan Yi Hua might have different opinion since marriage was an important matter for a woman. In that case, he better just waited for her opinion.

"Just make it simple." Princess Lan Yi Hua passed a look at Lin Xiao and smiled faintly. What was the use of making it grand when she was still having such a low reputation? There was no need for her to ask others to come and mock her because her wedding ceremony was grand. It was already good enough for her if she could stay with Lin Xiao legally.

"Alright. Time to prepare it, boys."

"I'm a girl!" Fan Ling complained.

"Oh, whatever."

Seeing that Fan Ling was getting ready to ask for a spar with Lin Xiao, Lin Yun quickly stopped her from doing that. He smiled bitterly at the thought that this fiery girl was still losing his temper.

Lu Jian looked at the lake for a moment. "Is it fine to leave the lake as it is?"

"Don't worry, if they didn't have your or mine permission, they can't use it." Lin Xiao grinned. He had set the restriction for the lake. With the restriction, no one would be able to use it.

Adding words of explanation to the pool would make it only eligible for those whom Lu Jian allowed to come inside. Besides, since Lu Jian also lacked time in the training pool because the time was up back then, this would help him to advance to Golden Core Stage faster.

Hearing his words, the drooling elders on the side felt as if there was a bucket of water splashed on top of their head, dousing all their imagination. They were thinking of being able to use this lake since it would take a few more weeks before Lin Xiao officially entered three years in the academy.

Now that he said that there was a restriction, it meant that they wouldn't be able to use it.

Lin Xiao noticed them and he grinned. He patted Fan Ling. "If you want your family members to be able to use it, you can ask for permission from Lu Jian. But of course, there has to be payment."

Fan Ling's eyes shone when she heard what Lin Xiao said. She knew that this would be another method that they could use in order for her to be able to fully lead the Fan Family. Since he had given her such a good weapon, she had to use it well.

"Rest assured Your Highness."

"Let's go."

"Grandfather, I'll be leaving first." Fan Ling still couldn't stay here for a long time since she hadn't stayed for three years in Sun Dragon Academy. After she had finished with the ranking battle, she would surely return back to her family mansion and began to learn everything that was necessary. 

The group left the Fan Family while the elders were still looking at each other. One of them sighed. "Young Miss really have good eyes."

Old Master Fan nodded while caressing his long beard. He thought that the little girl would only end up in countless troubles. Little did he expect that she would end up getting the attention of one of the princes' brother.

And maybe even securing high position in the future.

As they headed to the mansion where Lin Xiao was staying, Princess Lan Yi Hua looked like she was deep in thought. There must be something that was inside her mind since she didn't usually fell into deep thought randomly.

"Is there anything in your mind, Yi Hua?"

"There'll be a banquet with Hua Lan Kingdom in a few more months. I'm worried about that matter."

Banquet?

Originally, Lin Xiao would not be invited to those kinds of events. But with his current identity as a prince and also Princess Lan Yi Hua's fiancée, he would have to participate and show his face there much to his annoyance. 

"Well, it didn't really matter that much. When will the banquet will be held?"

"It should be in three months."

"Well, Phoenix Inheritance is not long after the banquet, right? Once you get it, everyone will try to get you." Lin Xiao held a helpless expression. He didn't want other people to covet what was his, so he wanted to make her his first.
