When they had walked a distance away, Lin Xiao passed a voice transmission to the two princes who were following behind him. "Are you sure it's fine for him to know that you two are following me?"

He could notice that Prince Lin Bo Wang was looking in Prince Lin Xian and Prince Lin San's direction coldly. That prince must have been trying to pull his brothers to be on his side too in the past.

After all, not all princes were capable enough to be able to enter Sun Dragon Academy. Prince Lin Yan, Prince Lin Xian, and Prince Lin San were among the few who successfully entered.

Their lineage was proven to be quite capable. 

"It's fine." Prince Lin Xian smiled faintly. "It's already time that we start to show our stances. Besides, aren't you also pulling a lot of people to be on your side?"

"Right."

Lin Xiao was not really doing things too covertly. The news of him having obtained a formation had spread in the capital city and quite a number of smaller families had expressed their willingness to follow him.

Of course, they were mostly screened by Lu Jian and Han Jiang who were working hard.

Prince Lin San also nodded. "It'll be a good thing for us to start working too. After all, Brother is very lazy."

"Who's lazy?" Prince Lin Xian was speechless. "You're the lazy one! I'm clearly very hardworking."

"What hardworking? You're mostly only lazying around all day." Prince Lin San held disdainful expression. "Even now, I can defeat you."

"Damn you!"

After enduring the harsh training under Prince Lin Yan, Prince Lin San was already much more powerful than before. It was clear that the training bore fruit very well. Thanks to that, Prince Lin Xian couldn't defeat his younger brother anymore.

Princess Lan Yi Hua giggled as she listened to their conversation. 

"Let's return back."

"En."

What happened at the banquet was not spread but Lin Xiao heard that the negotiation fell through. It seemed that the three kingdoms couldn't decide on who would be the leading one. In addition, there was some news that there was a dispute between the princes because of Prince Lin Fei's mistake.

But the detail was kept hidden.

Lin Xiao was not interested either and kept his schedule to mostly locking himself to train and listen to the report from the others. 

Time passed swiftly and soon, it was time for the banquet in Hua Lan Kingdom. 

"The banquet is next week. Since the location is quite far, we'll be using the teleportation circle." Prince Lin Xian came and informed Lin Xiao. "I want you to prepare yourself because the distance is quite far and you will be quite uncomfortable with the etiquette."

"Ah?"

"As Princess Lan Yi Hua's husband, you might be subjected to critique if you couldn't handle yourself well." Prince Lin San smiled bitterly. "You can choose not to care, but the Emperor might not like it."

Lin Xiao nodded. He didn't care much about the Emperor, but he didn't want people to start saying that Princess Lan Yi Hua married a rogue. He looked at the three of them and cupped his hand. "In that case, I'll be relying on you to help me with my manners."

"I have the time to teach you, but I'll be strict."

"Well… I'll do my best."

For the last week before the banquet, Lin Xiao spent the time to prepare himself for the banquet by memorizing the important etiquette and also manner of speech. While it was not perfect, he did look better.

"My plan is not to do anything in the banquet." Lin Xiao smiled, his eyes were chilling cold. Prince Lin Yan told him back then that the one who ordered his assassination was Prince Lin Fei. And now that he was in the academy, there were some attempts that didn't even manage to get close from Prince Lin Bo Wang.

Since the two princes were so adamant to make things hard for him, he would be the one making the first move against the two of them.

"Are you sure you can rile that Prince Lin Bo Wang?" Prince Lin San asked when he helped Lin Xiao to prepare himself. "He's the epitome of wall. No matter what you say to him or taunt him, he would not show much expression on his face and defused everything quickly without the need of so much effort."

Lin Xiao nodded. He had met with Prince Lin Bo Wang directly not long ago and the description was very apt for him. The prince was very cold but it was not hard to detect the competitive nature within his heart. 

"I'm thinking about that but there's just one matter that I can think of to rile them up. Don't worry, the preparation is complete and I only need to make sure that I'm invisible during the party."

Lin Yun looked at Princess Lan Yi Hua, who had dressed herself beautifully in purple dress. The color would make young children look old but in the princess, it looked so elegant as if the color had suited her the most. With her looked like that, she was much more enchanting than anything else.

She didn't seem to be hiding much of her countenance but her bangs were still put on quite low. It didn't fully showcased her beauty. 

'Would you be able to keep low profile with such a beauty beside you?'

While Lin Yun was unsure, Lin Xiao finished his preparation. He was dressed in purple robe too and combed his long hair neatly. In truth, he rarely cared for his appearance but since they were in formal banquet, it would be better for him to look good.

"Don't worry, Brother. You're handsome."

"Of course, I'm handsome!"

Princess Lan Yi Hua furrowed her brows when she looked at Lin Xiao. "Don't go and charm other girls."

"I won't!"

"Let's go and use the teleportation circle. The others might have been waiting for us."
