Lin Xiao arrived with his butt and couldn't help but jump. He looked at the ground resentfully as if asking. 'Couldn't you make the landing softer?'

Princess Lan Yi Hua laughed when she saw Lin Xiao's expression. She then turned her head around to look at the place where they were. They were in the middle of nowhere, to be exact, they were in the middle of a forest.

The forest was filled with dense Qi and also some kind of ancient power that fluctuated, mixing in. With such dense Qi and ancient power, one would be an idiot if they weren't able to sense it.

"It's such a good place to practice." Prince Fu Liang was also astounded. If one trained here, they would be able to get twice the benefit with half the effort.

Lin Xiao nodded and silently asked Lin Hu to start absorbing the Qi. That way, he would be able to advance faster. Of course, Lin Hu was already maniacally absorb all the Qi around them and even tempted to ask Lin Xiao to find a lake.

If there was a lake, Lin Xiao could build temporary array in order to absorb even more Qi.

"Let's find a place to stay. It might be dangerous for us to stay outside."

Traveling in the forest, the five of them rushed in one direction. It was clear that they were all already used to this as they began to move faster and faster. Even though they were tempted to rest, they didn't want to stay in the middle of nowhere and possibly got attacked while they were training.

After several hours, they finally spot a city.

They walked to the gate and saw that there were a lot of other cultivators in the city. It was clear that there were a lot of people who had gathered there. There was also a commotion inside.

"What happened?" Lin Xiao asked curiously as he walked pass the open gate.

One of the cultivators there glanced at Lin Xiao and smiled bitterly. "Are you new? This is one of the resting city and some groups from powerful kingdoms are fighting for ownership."

"Ownership?" Lin Xiao's face turned strange. They could own a city?

After asking for some more, Lin Xiao then understood that in order to stay in the city, there would be some group from more powerful kingdoms who would be trying to take control of the city. They would be asking for some 'money' to let them stay there. 

But right now, this city was ownerless and there were two equally powerful groups who were fighting.

"They're all at Golden Core Stage 6." Prince Lin Yan furrowed his brows. Such rank was nothing much to him but their sheer number was the biggest problem. They were all only at Golden Core Stage 4 and 5, which meant that it would take some time before they could advance to Golden Core Stage 6.

In normal times, it was hard enough for them to advance. On the other hand, those people seemed to be in their 20 years of age and yet they had advanced to Golden Core Stage 6. Such different in environment naturally would make one jealous.

Comparison really hurt.

"Well, we'll just find a quiet corner to practice for now." Lin Xiao waved his hand. "Being low key is good enough."

Low key?

Somehow, Princess Lan Yi Hua, Prince Lin San, and Prince Lin Yan's lips twitched when they thought about how 'low key' Lin Xiao was in the academy before. He practically being so 'low key' by putting himself at the last position for the first three years of his academic years.

Only Prince Fu Liang was clueless about how low key Lin Xiao wanted to be.

"We can stay low for now since we're not strong enough to roam around. The city should be safe."

They didn't take long to find some places where they could stay. Lin Xiao actually wanted to find better place, but it was already good enough. Forming formation with the ancient power, Lin Xiao was stunned.

'There are also ancient power mixed in that got pulled?'

'It's only normal considering the amount of ancient power in this place is a lot.' Lin Hu yawned. 'Focus on training and absorbing the Qi. I'll take care of the ancient power and the leftover Qi.'

There was no longer any restrain within Lin Xiao's body that Lin Hu placed before. The surge of Qi continuously streams inside and circulated very quickly. With such speed, it would only take a few days for Lin Xiao to advance to Golden Core Stage 5 and probably a year to advance to Golden Core Stage 6.

It couldn't be helped, even with the dense Qi in this area and the formation, the amount of Qi needed to advance to Golden Core Stage 6 was enormous.

One wouldn't be able to advance without having enough resources.
