Bing Che and the group of men seemed to have the third boa under control as they had already sufficiently damaged the beast, its speed and vigor turning more and more sluggish by the second.

So Qin Hua did not bother to imprison the last boa any longer. The mob gathered around both the snakes, quickly stabbing them to death while she dashed around here and there.

She also took care of a group of sparrows that had flown over to them. 

Luckily these smaller beasts were not yet highly mutated like the boas and were only around Level 10. Qin Hua alone was able to take them down easily.

They managed to make her bleed from a couple of spots due to their high agility, the advantage of flight, and their suspiciously extra sharp and strong beaks.

But in the end, they were not able to withstand even a single one of her counterattacks and dropped dead one by one.

The other people also began noticing the increasing numbers of these smaller beasts and their jubilant mood slightly dampened. 

It was becoming more and more clear to them that this was their life now and no one could ignore it any longer. If they did not fight and get ahead, they would only end up becoming prey to these mutated beasts.

Soon the two boas collapsed one after the other, dropping down dead. With their heavy bodies thudding on the ground, a sudden silence filled the air.

Almost everyone was panting and heaving, covered from head to toe in greed blood. 

They had lost people today but except for the four of them who had died in the beginning, there were no other casualties.

And this time they had not been fighting against small rats or zombies. 

They had been up against giant monstrous snakes, whose bodies now ominously laid around, cold and lifeless, their dull eyes staring back at them, still plenty dreadful.

All in all, this was an absolute fucking victory!

Clattering sounds of the weapons rang loudly as everyone dropped their knives and daggers onto the ground one by one, not because it was dirty and grimy and covered in blood, but because they simply did not have the strength to hold it anymore.

Family members and friends hurriedly looked around and made sure that everyone they knew was alright. 

Mothers and children hugged each other and cried and even the fathers joined them, crying equally along with them.

The elderly collapsed on the ground and looked around at the sight of blood and gore disbelievingly.

They had fought and they had won!

Qin Hua had already sent her clone to bring back Xu Meilin and Su Yan who were still hiding. 

Xu Meiling had taken care of a couple of sparrows that had attacked them so she was bleeding from her hands and legs. 

Alex quickly rushed over to her and helped her bandage. She tended to her own wounds as well. Lu Chen and Guan Ye as well sat beside them and bandaged their own wounds. 

After the consumption of the mana cores, everyone's healing and regeneration capacity had miraculously increased but it was still not enough. 

Considering that the battle this time around was that much worse, almost all of them were injured heavily. The hospital supplies came in very handy and everyone helped each other.

Only Qin Hua remained completely unscathed. She was happily wagging her tail and strolling around, keeping an eye out for any other beast stragglers.

At least, that's what it looked like to others. 

In reality, she was staring at the blue screen busily, her eyes glued to the several juicy notifications. So many had chimed in that she was literally drooling without caring about anything.

She had also managed to land the last hit or rather the killing blow on the last boa. So there was another big chunk of experience points waiting for her.

Qin Hua's tongue almost rolled onto the ground after seeing the truckload of the experience points. If she was not regretting it earlier, she was regretting it now!

[Ahhhh!!!! I should have really tried to land the last attacks!]

Woof! Woof! She pouted with a sigh and quickly swiped it away. There was no point in crying over lost points now.

She was about to check the rest when another fleet of sparrows descended from the sky. 

A few gasps sounded from behind her but Qin Hua did not bother to wait for anyone and quickly took care of the entire bunch of them on her own. Lu Chen also helped her by impaling a couple of them with his ice spears.

[Woof! It looks like this beast meat or mana core is attracting more and more beasts. Everything needs to be cleaned first.]

Qin Hua was also feeling a bit hungry so she licked her lips, revealing her canines. 

She casually strolled over to the giant broken down halves of the boas and started tossing one after the other into her inventory space. 

While she was at it, she also tossed the smaller beast corpses in the slots after ensuring that their mana cores were first absorbed. If not, she took it upon herself to absorb all the remaining mana cores.

One really couldn't afford to be wasteful during the apocalypse. Every bit of everything needed to be used to the last drop.

And lastly, only the two boa heads remained untouched.
