A couple of people started walking up to Qin Hua in an attempt to take the last boa's head that laid in front of her.

One person even tried to coax her into giving away the severed head. "Good doggy. Good doggy. Drop the meat. I will buy you something tasty later."

Qin Hua couldn't help but cock her head and stare at this person as if he was stupid. Even the others standing nearby rolled their eyes.

While this was going on in the front another person tried to reach out and snatch the beast's head from the side. 

The rules of this game were simple. They didn't even need to safe guard the mana core. As long as they simply touched it, it was already game over. 

So this person did a quick mental calculation and leaped towards the head at full speed.

However, Qin Hua never took her eyes off of the prize even though she was fully surrounded by the crowd. 

It took her a second to react and all everyone saw was a black blur as she moved and materialized on the opposite side, almost instantly.

"What the hell!"

"Yes. Yes. This is completely unacceptable."

"If you all want to stay in the stadium with us and be a part of the group, you have to learn to be a team player."

"This is simply outrageous. Daylight robbery! Hmph!"

Feeling so helpless against her power and speed, everybody directly started shouting loudly, forgetting what they had just now undergone.

[Haaa… Calm the hell down idiots.] Qin Hua sighed and shook her head. These people were not even giving her a chance to act first and they were unnecessarily protesting.

To begin with, she was not even planning on taking the last core for herself. She was not that heartless.

Woof! Woof! She barked tiredly and tossed the last head towards where Bing Che and his friends were sitting.

She then turned around and gave the crowd another glare, shaking her head helplessly. Good people were always misunderstood!

Now that the precious mana core was no longer in her possession, the crowd immediately shifted their attention towards Bing Che and started gathering around that group, making a fuss.

The entire place became extremely chaotic. Qin Hua did not have a good feeling about this at all.

As if he could read her mind, Lu Chen walked over and stood next to her. "Little White, I think it's best to leave this place. Let's travel in a smaller group." He muttered.

Qin Hua bobbed her head up and down and nodded as she completely agreed with him.

A few elders were sitting in the corner, too tired to participate in this hubbub. Lu Chen and Qin Hua strolled towards this group of elders.

"This meat of the mutated beast is extremely nutritious and can strengthen one's body. There were four snakes in total. We will leave 2 of their bodies with you all." Lu Chen explained.

At the same time, Qin Hua also took out the sliced bodies of two boas and left the carcasses as a bundle on the side.

The elders stared at them, not knowing what to say. By now, the mana core also ended up being consumed by someone and the rest of the crowd started paying attention to the meat pile.

"How could the split be 50-50?"

"We are more in numbers compared to you. We put the efforts and secured this stadium and now you simply want to reap the benefits?"

"At least give us 3 of the boas. We have a lot of mouths to feed."

And once again, everyone started complaining!

Lu Chen sighed. He tried to be kind and keep in mind that they were also living breathing human beings just like them and even generously shared everything, but they were still not satisfied.

At this point, he didn't even bother discussing anything anymore. He simply looked at Guan Ye, Alex, and Xu Meilin, who all looked annoyed and irritated and smiled back at him bitterly.

"Let's go. We are leaving." Lu Chen said.

"Huh??? What are you saying? You can't leave just like that!"

"We are all together in a group. How can you guys alone leave?"

"Listen to us kid. We have to stay together and fight whatever is coming. You will never be able to survive alone."

Lu Chen silently sighed, and along with the others went inside to pack up their things. He didn't even bother replying to anyone.

He could hear hushed murmurs and whispers behind them but he continued moving quickly. This place was a death trap. In fact, any place where people gathered in huge numbers was a death trap.

The group did not linger long and directly grabbed the truck keys to head outside, but unexpectedly, a few people were blocking their path with weapons in their hands.

Even Bing Che was with them.

Lu Chen could see that these were all evolved human beings who had at least absorbed one or more mana cores. The more naive ones in the group were standing behind them.

"Sorry brother, I cannot allow you to leave like that." Bing Che apologetically muttered.

"What brother? What sorry? Brat. listen. You cannot take our food and supplies and leave. What will we all do then? How can you be this heartless?"

"People like you don't deserve mercy at all. Do you think you are so strong? Do you know what brother Bai is as strong as you? He has also absorbed a mana core. Show him your strength brother."

"Yes yes. Punch him in the face and show him your strength."

"Just calm down, guys. Let me talk first." Bing Che bitterly smiled and stepped forward.
