Jacob sent the invitation cards to all his friends and business partners and the night before the engagement party Jacob took Jamie for shopping. Jamie was scared if her plan could be successful because he practically locked his phone in the cupboard before sleeping and never parted from it and with her stomach churning in she put on a smile and went shopping with him. Jacob kept his arm on Jamie's waist and asked her to remain closer, they went trough the shopping mall like this. He selected a few dresses for Jamie to try on, Jamie took the dresses and went to the changing room to try the dresses while he waited outside. The person in charge of the changing room asked her "Are you Jamie Jefferson."

She was confused at the question "Yeah"

"Can you please come with me."

"Okay but where are you taking me."

The person did not say anything and took her to the change room where Daisy had been waiting for her, she was angry at her "What are you doing here and what do you want now?"

Daisy looked at her apologetically "I am really sorry Jamie and I know you have the full right to be angry but can you please come in and let me explain once because if Jacob sees me here we will be doomed."

Jamie gets in, Daisy bolts the door and Jamie angrily speaks again "Now what do you want, are you here to ask for my help then guess what I am a good friend who is already helping you."

"It's not that, listen to me." she then explains herself, Jamie's eyes well up with tears and she hugs Daisy tightly "I am sorry Dais, I misunderstood you when you where helping me out."

Daisy pulled her back and started scolding her "I am not here for this, I am here to tell you that your idea is so stupid. I will tell you what to do, just do that." she explained her plan as Daisy handed her a bottle.

Jamie smiled and kissed her cheek "You are the best Daisy, now quickly select a dress for me, it will be such a wonderful day."

Daisy smiled and nodded as she tried all the dresses. She selected one dress and ran towards Jacob she smiled at him and said "We can shop for our wedding dresses later let's have lunch and prepare for the engagement."

Jacob was dumbstruck when he saw the excitement on Jamie's face but he was happy that she was ready to accept him. He nodded, held her by her waist and left.

The next day all the preparations were done and by the evening Jamie and Jacob were ready, a driver was arranged for them. All the guests were waiting when they arrived at the party, Jacob took Jamie's hand and took her to the stage where they officially exchanged the rings. Is was followed by a couple dance which made Jamie more anxious to get to why she was there. She excused herself and left to go to the washroom, she rushed into the washroom and standing in front of the mirror she took in a deep breath and spoke to herself "Jamie you got to do this, it is now or never."

She went out and called a waiter to be safe she put one sleeping tablet in each glass, gave him some money she took from Jacob and asked him to serve Jacob a drink and as the waiter left she just hoped that Jacob drinks one. Jacob took a glass and a smile appeared on Jamie's face, he drank the wine and started feeling dizzy and within minutes he was on the floor, Jamie went forward and put on a worried look on the face which was trying to smile "Oh my God Jacob, what happened." she lifted his head and then looked at everyone "I think we will have to end the party here, I will take him to the hospital."

As everyone left she took his phone, removed her ring and put it in his pocket and with the help of waiter carried him to his car and said to the driver "Take him home, he dank too much, I will be back later."

The driver nodded and went away, she called Charles and he was there within 15 minutes, she hugged him tightly and began to cry "We are finally together."

He smiled and picked her up happily and took her to the car and they were finally home.
