Rachel woke up after some peaceful sleep, as Kevin was holding her tightly she decided not to move because he needed rest. She began to stare at his beautiful face thinking how he gave him the same pleasant feeling that she had in her childhood then she was interrupted by Kevin's voice "Enjoying what you are seeing."

She was taken off guard and was about to fall from the bad when Kevin held her "You can do that every morning."

She punched him lightly in his chest blushing "You are too full of yourself, let go of me."

He smiled and instead of letting go he pulled her closed and pecked her forehead and said "I will surely enjoy the view I will see." looking with deep and honest eyes.

Rachel blushed and hid her face in his chest and he hugged her tightly pulling her as close as possible. This loving act was interrupted by David "Your trouble has long been gone and now I wish my room to myself so you should better make your love somewhere else."

They both blushed and then Kevin carried Rachel in his arms back to her ward and while on the way out David whispered in his ear slowly and quickly so that Rachel would not notice "Tell her the truth as early as possible or her heart will be broken badly and you will regret that all your life."

Kevin nodded and went out with a smile but her heart felt heavy, he thought of ignoring that feeling for the time being.

Back in the ward Rachel and Kevin cuddled on the hospital bed as she spoke "I never thought that I will be so weak someday that I will have to depend on someone else because I don't have the habit of depending on others as I have only been dependent on myself all my life."

Kevin then pulled her closer and said in a soft and gentle voice "You can now depend on me and let me depend on you. Being there for one another is what all love is about."

Rachel nodded and then they enjoyed each other's company for a long time, they were interrupted by a person entering the door and talking to Rachel in a completely heart broken tone "How could you cheat me, all this time I have considered you as a good friend but how could you do this to me. Had I not come today to see how you are feeling, I could never find the truth."

Rachel sat upright looking at her with innocent eyes "It is not what you think, I promised Kevin not to tell you about him. I am really sorry for hurting you."

Emma still felt cheated so she nodded and spoke "Don't worry I still owe you for saving my life so we might keep in contact."

She left the room as Rachel called her from behind and when she was about to get up, Kevin held her and said "Let me handle this."

She said worried "But you..."

Kevin cut her off "Just keep resting, I will be back." and then without looking at her he followed Emma to her room and them sat next to her.
