The way she smiled and the fact that she called so early in the morning, Charles knew she was up to something so he decided to tease her "Is this the reason you called me so early in the morning, just to ask how I was. Well than let me tell you what happened at work today, I tell you these people working here are so lazy.... "

Rachel cut her and spoke "Alright dad, I know I can not outsmart you but talking about work that's not fair."

"Really and you living with that idiot is."

Rachel made a cute face "Dad, please we have been over this."

Charles gave up "Alright say what do you want."

"Dad before I ask you, you have to promise me to keep calm and I promise nothing wrong will happen."

Charles gave her a stern look "What's up with you?"

Rachel made that cute face again "I want to go out for a weekend."

Charles relaxed "Why were you so scared, I would never say no to that and you know it."

"I know that but I want to go with Kevin and I promise I will not do anything wrong."

"I trust you sweetie but I don't trust that idiot."

She was going to plead her side when Kevin got up from bed behind her without a shirt and was caught on the call, Rachel pushed him down the bed but before she could speak Charles said "What is that idiot doing in your room again."

Rachel thought of something quick and said "Last night we were making a project so he fell asleep over here."

"You are not going with him at any cost."

Kevin put on his shirt, grabbed the phone from her hand and talked to his Dad "I promise to buy 2 separate rooms please let her come with me."

Charles liked the idea and after some convincing he finally agreed and then the father and daughter talked for some time before she got ready for school. These two days went in a complete haze as they were so excited about the mission and they pretended to be on working on the mission given by the fake David.

They completed their packing a night before they were supposed to leave when Rachel asked Kevin "Were you serious about buying two rooms?"

"Yes, I promised your dad."

Rachel somehow felt sad thinking about the warmth of Kevin's arms as she had grown used to sleeping like that.

Rachel smiled and turned around putting her arms around his neck "Good or it would have been difficult for you to sleep without me in your arms."

She smiled and ran under the sheets to sleep, Kevin was just enchanted by her smile which was so contagious that he began to smile while he went to the bed to take her in his arms saying "That's true."

Rachel was taken aback, she buried her head in his chest and said "For me to."

Kevin kissed her forehead and they drifted off to sleep.
