Charles made him sit on the chair and said "I am so proud of you sweetie but you have do your best and promise me to take care of yourself. I know that other people are there in this team too but you see their parents don't know what dangerous work are they doing and if they did, they would be as worried for them as I am for you."

Rachel made her Dad sit on the chair and then sat in his lap hugging him tightly "Dad you don't have to be scared, your daughter is smart enough to protect herself and I have your genes, I can not be harmed and moreover you are my inspiration, seeing you here gives me courage to do this."

He hugged her daughter "Sweetie, I will always answer you as a dad whenever you say it so if we are in mission and you call me Sir, I will be there as your senior but as soon as you need your dad, just say dad and your senior will disappear."

"I know dad, you will always be there for me but now it is the time that I should be there for me and others who need me."

Charles eyes were filled with happiness "You know sweetie, I am just so proud of you that no one could ever have been of their daughter."

"Dad, you should be proud of yourself that your daughter turned out to be just like you."

Charles smiled and gently stoked her head then he asked "What are you gonna tell your mom, why won't you be able to visit her for so long."

Rachel jumped up "Oh no dad, I have not thought about that."

Charles got up too, smiled and again stroking her head said "Well think about that too, she is gonna be so worried. Now go and have some sleep."

She nodded, kissed her dad and went to her room."

She was taken in by Kevin with a giant hug, who took her to bed and hugged her so tightly that she could not breathe.

"What are you doing?"

"I can't sleep without you so I am hugging you to sleep."

"You idiot, loosen up, I can't breathe."

He loosened up a little "I am sorry for that."

"I know what this was for and don't worry dad didn't say anything about you staying here."

Kevin was shocked and pushed her back a little to look her into the eyes "Really, does that mean he trusts me now."

Rachel smirked "Do you really think my dad will be so easily impressed, he is the head of the smartest detectives. He was too worried about me to even think of you."

"Oh, I see" he hugged her back again "but I promise you I will impress him one day that he trusts me with you completely."

Rachel stroke his cheeks "Yeah, I know you will but right now I need some sleep so stop talking and hug me to sleep."

Kevin hugged her and they both went of to sleep.
