Robert entered the room at this moment and answered her question before Jessica could "We have come up with a plan and will only follow it if you agree because that this the only way both of us can stay closer to you and protect you until you are 20 and after that he won't be able to harm you and before you ask why, I will just say that you will get the answer at the right time."

Rachel nodded "What is the plan?"

Rachel didn't even think twice before answering "That would be great, my friend living with me is the most amazing thing and I don't have any problem with you living in my house now that I know you are not a bad person." she smiled at Robert.

Jessica could feel the heat rising between them so she coughed to make her presence known and both of them snapped out of it.

Rachel thought to herself to keep her distance from Robert because he really loved her and she didn't know if she liked him or was she trying to get over Kevin but his next words made her think again "What about pretending to be a couple because that is the only way to stay close."

Rachel didn't want to get his hopes high so she replied "What if we just pretended to be very close friends that would also do and you can stay in my house as Jessica's brother."

She thought she would have to persuade him but he agreed immediately, she realized that he was giving her the time she required but why did she feel hurt, why did she feel wrong and why did she feel the pain as if she was doing something wrong as if she was hurting someone but she just pushed the feeling to the back of her mind and decided to talk to Jessica about the house, her family and everything, she wanted to know more about her friend but before that Robert spoke "Jessica, can you give us a minute, I need to talk to Rachel alone."

Jessica hesitantly looked at Rachel and when the latter nodded, she left. Rachel then smiled at Robert who had a pained look in his eyes, it made her heart clench, she just wanted to cup him face and assure him that everything would be fine but before she could do that Robert moved closer to her swallowing whole of the distance between them and then he spoke holding her hands with a very heavy voice "Rachel, I know this is not the right time but I wanted to do this the right way, I know that you already know this and I also know what your answer is gonna be but please let me say this. I would at the least be satisfied having said this to you on my own. I don't even want an answer, I just want to tell you...."

Rachel's heart clenched seeing him sad, she thought how could a person who wanted to do good and be there for her be this broken, as he spoke Rachel felt something inside her, a desire to kiss him, she began to fight with her thoughts but in the end her desire won and before he could finish and tell her that he loves her, she was kissing him.

Robert was taken aback by the sudden kiss, his body stiffened and he froze on his place. Rachel's hand went into his hair as her desire to kiss him deepened, she began to suck his lower lip and that was when Robert snapped out of his shock, his hands went to her waist and she was pinned to the bed. His tongue parted her lips away and made it's way into her mouth, he sucked her upper lip and then again his tongue went into her mouth, he began to taste every corner of her mouth and he didn't want this to end ever but in the end when he realized she was not able to breathe anymore, he stopped and pulled away, both of them panting.

Robert saw that a part of her neck was exposed while he had pulled her down which made him want to have her then and there, he bit her neck, sucked it until it was a bright red mark. Tears fell out of Rachel's eyes which made Robert sit up and cup her cheeks "I am sorry, I didn't want to force myself on you."

Rachel looked at him and smiled then sitting up she spoke "Robert, I know you love me and I am really sorry for kissing you right now. I don't want to say anything or get your hopes high because right now what I am feeling towards you is just to get over Kevin, I feel like my heart has been shattered to pieces. You are a really nice person but please find someone who is not broken and looking for comfort, a person who can love you back." tears rolled down her eyes.

Robert's heart clenched, he cupped her face and wiped her tears with his tumbs "I have given my heart to you and now it does not have the potential to love anyone. I don't want you to love me back but please let me love you and care correct you until I die."

More tears flowed through her eyes as he said those heart warming words, she just nodded and hugged him tightly.
