Rachel froze on her place as if she had lost her voice or her senses to react to the situation. She soon began to tremble at the sight of the blood although she knew Robert was an immortal, she could still feel the pain. She didn't know why but her heart was not at ease, she could not loose him and she was terrified by that thought.

She was truly heartbroken but she did not cry, her eyes burned with anger and she could only think about killing the person who had done this to Robert. She looked behind him and was about to take out the blade from Robert heart to kill her when Jessica shouted "Don't"

Rachel looked at Jessica who had her eyes filled with tears but they didn't come out, looking at her made her feel more at unease. She had the thought before that if she was the person who could kill the immortal Lora then she could kill Robert too and Jessica's reaction proved her thoughts right. The maddening killing intent inside her aggravated and she looked around the room. Kevin had a blade in his hand and at this moment she feared nobody so she went straight to him.

She looked terrifying as if she was the goddess of death and she was here to eradicate all the evil by killing them. Everyone in the room had frozen on their places no one dared to move or even make a sound. Robert tried to stop her but he felt to weak that he fell to the ground, Rachel heard the voice and she knew what happened. Her heart clenched and she could not help but kill all the people who were with her. She held Kevin by his neck, her grip tight enough for him to have difficulty in breathing.

He tried to speak "Rachel, I - I love..."

Before he could complete Rachel had already taken the knife from him and stabbed in his heart. She could not bear this person confessing to her, she immediately too the knife out and he lay dead on the ground.

Rachel turned around to look at Lora and then at Robert, her heart clenched and her throat felt stuffed that no words came out. Lora ran out as she knew she had no way to win, her guards were already killed by Robert so she decided to call all the other people who had been in search of this angel to help her as she continued running.

Rachel chased after her and they were soon led into a dense forest when she finally caught up to her and held her neck. Lora laughed "Even if you kill me there are many other who will come after me."

Next was Rachel's bone chilling voice "Do you think I care, all of you will die tonight."

Lora trembled and was about to say something when Rachel passed the knife into her heart and a loud shriek was heard then finally a tear dropped from Rachel's eyes "You are the worst mother I have ever seen and if I could I would have tortured you to death but I can't. You have already lived long enough and it is time for you to die" saying this she twisted the knife a few times to hear her shout in pain and finally took out the knife from her body and Lora stopped moving, she picked up her body and took her back.

She went into the room and threw her body over Kevin's and then went to the other side of the room. She had seen that Lora had prepared the things to burn her body after taking her powers so she took them and went to their bodies. She poured the oil over their bodies and then with a match burned them. Jamie gasped as she had never expected her daughter to be this violent and then she finally saw her daughter breakdown in front of the now weakened Robert.

She cried as she sat next to him holding his hand "Robert, you can not leave me. You promised to stay by my side, you can't go back on your word. There must be a way to save you, tell me and I will do anything you say but you have to stay."

Robert placed a hand on her cheek and said "Rachel you are going to be very powerful so you have to do good and protect the people around you and please find someone who can love you more than me."

She cried out louder and placing her arms around him she buried her head into his chest which was now covered with his blood "No don't say that. I beg you don't say that, please tell me how can I save you."

Robert placed his arm around her and said gently, his heart was clenching with pain not because of the blade in there but because this condition of Rachel was unbearable for him "Be good."

Rachel looked into his eyes "Please don't do this Rob. I can't live without you, I will also die with you because it was me who did this and I can never forgive myself."

He gathered his strength and placed a hand under her chin then kissed her lips for the last time. It was so passionate and painful that it would break anyone's heart. He let go of her and before he could say anything a lot of people entered the room that Lora had called, they all charged towards Rachel but Robert wrapped her into his arms providing his body as a shield to protect her. Rachel who was still crying shouted in pain as if she was being hit instead of him. She struggled out of Robert's grip which was still very strong even though he was loosing his strength. She looked at him and shouted "Let go of me, I will kill them all."

He gave her his most charming smile and he said "Let me protect you for the last time."

His words broke Rachel's heart and she struggled out of his grip even harder, tears flowing uncontrollably from her eyes. It was as if those waterworks were not ready to stop. She gave him a hit on his face and said angrily "Stop saying that, don't you dare leave me or I will kill you."

She cried even harder as she said that, Robert smiled and hugged her tightly into his chest and then within 5 minutes he killed all the invaders in the room.

Jamie and Jessica had been crying too as they had been witnessing all this since the beginning. Defeated Jessica looked at Jamie and said "Though he is my brother, I know I can survive without him but please find a way to save my brother for you daughter's sake because I know she can not survive without him."

Jamie didn't turn to look at Jessica "If I had a way to do that would I be standing here."

She looked at her daughter who continued crying in Robert's arms and then she looked at Jessica "I need your help"

Jessica looked at her eagerly "I will do anything for them please tell me."

Jamie closed her eyes and looked at them again then she told Jessica what to do. Jessica looked at little disappointed "So he can't be saved."

Jamie didn't answer her question "Just do as I say."

Jessica nodded and both of them started performing spells on the couple in front of them. After a while Rachel fell limp in Robert's arms but her grip didn't loosen up on him due to the fear of not seeing him when she woke up.

Robert looked at Jamie and Jessica and said "Take care of her."

Both of them nodded their heads with tears in their eyes. Robert looked at her and now that she was unconscious he finally let down his strong face that he had put up and tears flowed through his eyes. He placed a kiss on her forehead and said "I am sorry that I could not keep my promise but I love you and I am happy that I am dying at your hands."

Jessica hugged her brother and said "Don't worry she will not remember you."

Robert looked at her "Thank you for that and please protect her."

He stood up and passed Rachel to Jessica but her grip was too tight and she kept on whispering "No, please don't"

Robert send a few more tears and pushed her away forcefully and then he went to Jamie "I am sorry"

Jamie hugged him tightly and said "Don't say that, you did a great job."

Jamie had tears in her eyes and she didn't want to let him go too but as she did Robert said "Mom, can I ask you for a favor."

Jamie nodded her head unable to speak and Robert pointed at the blade in his heart "Can you take it out so that I can die peacefully."

Jamie cried harder and placed her trembling hands over the edge, Robert closed his eyes and waited for her to pull it out and the moment she did that, he fell on the ground with a thump.

Jessica hugged Rachel into her chest and said in her sobbing voice "We need to go back to cut the cake."

Jamie nodded and held Rachel in her arms then looked at Jessica "You have to do something."

As Jamie explained everything to her Jessica nodded and then all of them went back taking Robert along.
