Rachel snapped out of the illusion as she knew this person was not Jessica and she asked in a sharp tone "Who are you?"

The person was still trembling and her voice was a little shaky as she spoke "W-w-what is wrong, I- I am Jessica."

Rachel let out a cold laugh and stepped closer to this person, then she placed her hand on her neck and removed the mask that she was wearing. She could make out that this person has been wearing a mask that was specially designed to look like someone else. She could tell it easily for 2 reasons, one that Jessica would not sneak in her office like that and two that this person was not wise enough to wear it properly so Rachel could make out from the wrinkles on the neck.

As she removed the mask, a familiar face appeared in front of her and she widened her eyes as she said "You are quite daring!"

He was her last secretary and at this moment, he was shivering in fear. He knew about Rachel's capabilities and he knew that if she chose to beat him up, he could not fight back as he had seen her in action in the past. Seeing him like that she stepped closer to him trying to intimidate him "Well, what are you doing here?"

He went to his knees and rested his head on her feet "Ma'am please let me go, I really don't want to do this."

Rachel already knew this part so she held his collar and said intimidating him "Who send you here?"

He was already at the verge of crying "No one, I am here on my own."

Rachel laughed and then said "Alright if I believe what you are saying then tell me what are you looking for."

He told her that he was looking for the secret file of the company that had the most valuable information and that to have led to bankruptcy and then she smiled "What are you going to do with it?"

He looked at her shocked and stammered "I- I-I...."

Rachel knew he would have no idea of what this file was needed for because he was just being forced so she said "Let me state the facts, first you don't have the money for this kind of custom made masks as I have seized all the money that you made through the wrong way, second you could not earn this much money in such a short period of time and third by seeing how clumsy you are, you would not dare to do this so start telling me the truth if you want to live."

Rachel let go of his collar and he bent down to grab her leg, his tears flowing vigorously "Ma'am please let me go, I really can't tell you anything."

Seeing how scared he was, she bent down to grab his shoulder and lifted him up, then she made him sit in her own chair and gave him water while her tone softened a lot "Drink it first."

He looked at her shocked and didn't dare to hold the glass. Rachel knew he was scared so she placed her hand on his arm as she said "Go on drink it and relax."

He hesitantly took the glass and drank it in one go, he was way too scared that he didn't realize how clumsy his actions were. After he was done, Rachel took the glass and placed it on the table "Now tell me what is wrong and I will help you."

He panicked and said "Nothing is wrong and I don't need you to care, please let me go."

Rachel narrowed her eyes at him and looked at him from head to toe. She realized that he must have something on his that someone was using to spy on him.

She wrote something on a paper and passed it to him. He took it from her and looked at what she had written [Is someone listening to us.]

He nodded his head and Rachel understood immediately as she spoke "Did you take the file."

He was about to say 'Yes's when Rachel passed her a paper that said [Say no]

Rachel then said "Don't dare to pull this act ever again and I will let you go."

She said while writing the response on the paper and when it was passed to him, he spoke "Ma'am I won't ever come back if you let me go."

Rachel smiled and said "Fine I am letting you off"

She the took the page and wrote [Go out and wait for me, I will help you and bring a new set of clothes for you so that we can talk comfortably.]

He nodded his head and went out of office while Rachel went to the room in the office and took some old clothes of her father in there. She went out and gave it to him to change and when he returned back Rachel said "Start speaking"

She made him sit on the couch in her office while she sat opposite him waiting for him to speak. His tears were still flowing as he said "Ma'am I am really sorry for whatever I did in the past. I wanted to enjoy myself but when you came to take charge, I was also ready to do whatever you said and start working diligently. I was temporarily taken over by greed but I was always faithful and I had decided to return every single penny to you because I regretted it as this place had given me everything."

Rachel nodded and he continued "I didn't mind when you kicked me out as I knew I deserved it and I gave you all the money I had on my own accord then I started working hard as I decided never to go down that wrong path again but while I was I there I fell in love with a woman and we soon got married. It was her who made me see that what I was doing was wrong and she was right. When I realized that I started improving and then I started loosing money soon I told her everything and told her that I was going to repay for what I had done and if she hated me she could leave but she is such a nice person that she said as long as I had self awareness and was ready to improve, she would stick by my side. Even when I got fired, she didn't leave me and I felt so lucky to have found a person like her but a few days ago she was kidnapped. I was scared and began to search for her crazily until the day before yesterday I received a video which showed that she was badly beaten up and the person said that if I wanted her alive I had to do whatever he said. He send me the mask because he knew that Jessica would never be questioned while entering your office, he chose me as I had worked here and knew everything. I didn't want to do this but I love her and it is all because of me, she is in trouble."

"I can help you but then you will have to work for me and you can never betray me, I will give you the position of the assistant as I need more of them and because I will owe you one, you will have to be honest with the job."

He looked at her and said "Ma'am, if you save her, I will serve you with my life."

Rachel gave him a warm smile and said "Now that I have your word, you too have my word that I won't let anything happen to your wife you don't need to be scared anymore."

He heart felt warm and he didn't know how to show his gratitude, she was the best person he had seen because if it were someone else, he would already be in jail. He was so happy and filled with gratitude that he thought, if the time came, he would safe her life with his own as he had never seen a generous and smart person like her moreover she could differentiate the right from wrong so easily.

Rachel knew that when she had fired him, it was to show him that this place could work without him and she was in charge now she knew that if she helped him and with the way he had already changed, he would be the most reliable person for her in the future.

He then stood up and asked "What do I have to do now."

Rachel smiled "First return the file you stole."

He was quick to hand her the pen drive and she went to her computer where she changed the file with some other file. She then said "Take this to the and it will initially show him the success, he won't let your wife go but with this he won't harm her either. He will try to use your wife to do many other things but before that happens we will save her. I will just need some time you send me everything he has ever send you."
