《Psycho X Psychic》Chapter 120 - The Saturday Meeting

Although Teren looked harmless right now, it doesn't mean he truly is. That's why with his presence, it was silent.
While traversing the woods, no one dared to walk in front of Teren and have their backs facing him.
'I knew that this kind of atmosphere will be created with me here.'
Teren sighed but ultimately, it doesn't bother. Yet, if possible, he didn't want this to continue, therefore, he cast sideglances towards both Hanon and Nick.
Hanon has formed new malice against Teren but he was not in the position to go against his boss' orders. Receiving the message from that glance, the two looked at each other and try to start conversations.
Since it's them, the others tried replying. Since Teren was not reacting nor joining like Iesa, they got used to it, albeit a bit reservedly.
Eventually, they reached the van, and there, they began feasting on the remaining canned foods. While they talk and eat, they noticed at the edge of their sight Teren and Iesa was sitting beside one another as they eat quietly.
There was a strange atmosphere coming from them. The others immediately felt like they are third wheel x8. Therefore, slowly, they moved away from them not to disturb the two. It was not out of consideration but rather, submission.
After a while though, strange people began appearing. They walked as if they are all on death row. Even though there are a group of teenagers that are far out out of place here, they didn't seem to care about it. Usually, they will spout that this is their territory or something.
Hanon looked at these people and knew that they are the 'deserters' from the Handwing Gang. It seemed that they didn't dare oppose Teren or they were driven by fear. All of them have a pitiable appearance as most of them have dark bags underneath their eyes.

"Are they... a part of your gang, Sir Hanon?"
Eline asked and continued.
"They don't seem intimidating. Instead, they look scared."
Hanon sighed as he replied.
"It's because they are scared. In simpler terms, they offended Boss Hark and now, this is a meeting on what to do with them."
He no longer explained since they should know all about it by now from experience. Sympathy was aroused from them. They felt like they should do something about it. But there was nothing they could do. Teren couldn't touch them but that's it, that's all the privilege they have received.
More and more people came in as the temperature got higher like the sun above them. Right after they ate and drank water, a car arrived. It was the old vintage and classy car, Hanon immediately knew who's driving it.
Stopping in front of them, Old Derman stepped out of the car. None was surprised except for the old man himself.
"Hanon... are those your students?"
He raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, umm, Mister Derman." Hanon said with hardship. He was used to calling this old man 'boss' that he felt what he said was a little awkward.
The others watched the exchange with great interest. Only Nick knows who this old man was before, thus, when he was revealed to be some sort of boss of another gang, he was shocked. The others were not for they don't have any prior knowledge.
Old Derman was unable to comprehend what Hanon was thinking by bringing his students into this mess. But a moment later, he realized the truth.
"Is... Boss Hark the one who told you to bring them?"
Hearing another individual call Teren 'Boss Hark', especially a serious old man like him, made the reality really sink in between the group of friends.

"Not exactly, but yeah."
Old Derman looked at each one of them with empathetic eyes. However, he soon turned around and opened the trunk of his car to take out a wheechair. Hanon hurried and helped the old man.
"Thank you."
"No problem... Mister Derman."
Old Derman sighed at hearing this from Hanon.
"Take the umbrella too."
"Oh, does this mean?"
"Yeah, he's in the car."
Hanon finally realized why Old Derman took out a wheelchair. Soon, the old man went around his car and opened the side door for a complaint to come out.
"Old man, wait! Umbrella first!"
"Clade, can't you be a little respectful." Hanon came with the umbrella in his hand which made Clade react-
"Hanon! You're here!"
"Of course, I'm here."
"Say... this is a joke, right? This old man is just scaring me, right? That devil surely didn't just take the Spectre Gang."
Hanon slowly shook his head, not to affirm anything but out of pity for Clade.
Propping the wheelchair, Clade didn't need any help to sit there. Once the side door closed, Mike and his group finally saw the man in the wheelchair.
"Hm?"
Clade raised an eyebrow.
"Ahh-!" Catherine shouted as she pointed her finger, "It's the guy I told you about!"
Mira and Eline made gasping sounds.
"So he's the one who was beaten to a pulp by that man?"
"Yeah... yeah... I feel pity for him."
They whispered, bringing shame to Clade.
"Why are your students here... Hanon?" he asked with a dispirited voice.
"It's complicated."
Hearing something interesting, Teren peek to the side from behind the van and saw Clade, the one who reported him to the SSDA. He regretted not killing this man back then but nothing that could be done now.
Clade didn't notice Teren as he was pushed towards the warehouse by Hanon.
"Just wait and I'll come back. Though just follow his words."
By 'his', he obviously meant Teren which everyone understood. Meanwhile, Teren stood up and even though he and Iesa didn't talk, he felt satisfied.
"Just stay a bit far from the crowd later."
He said before leading everyone into the warehouse.
Iesa nodded, understanding that something would happen...
In the warehouse, 'deserters' from the Handwing Gang awaited their 'trial' and they didn't wait quite long. They soon saw a man still in his school uniform walk into the building.
'Now that I think about it, I don't stink, do I?'
Teren frowned at that thought while behind him were fellow teenagers as well. One look and they seem like sheep who entered a den of wolves.. But in reality, it was the wolf leading the sheeps who entered another herd of sheep, ready to be slaughtered.

The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody
[participant in the 2018 NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody is a LitRPG system story where each person transitions into the system, or SCHEMA as this system is known, innocent and unaware of his former life. Following the tutorial, memories return, but by this point, each person has a better chance of accepting their new world. It also gives them an opportunity to start from scratch, fresh without all the baggage of their former lives dictating their decisions in the early stages of the process. I don’t expect this will necessarily turn into an action-packed heroic tale, my intent is to create a character who wants to have just an ordinary, but reasonably comfortable life. I don’t know myself how well he will succeed, there may be twists and Tom may discover some heroism hidden deep inside. I guess we’ll find out together. This is my first writing attempt. I’ve wanted to write all my life, but I’ve never been able to develop the proper discipline to put in the work. I hope I complete the challenge and work my way past this hump. I am writing this as part of the NaNoWriMo Royal Road Challenge. While I will try to self-edit as I go, the challenge requires close to 2,000 words a day, so parts of the story may be rough, and things like plot lines may not make as much sense as any of us would like. If all goes well, and I complete the challenge, I plan on going back through everything and trying to polish it up. In the meanwhile, thank you for reading and I hope I don’t disappoint.

Drakon the Necrolord v2
Rewrite of my novel Drakon the Necrolord. 100 thousand years ago the system apocalypse began and all of the known worlds with sentient life in the universe got merged together forming a super planet. Orcs elves humans dwarves and hundreds of other species now living on one planet. These are the memoirs of one of them. Written with the help of the AI in his head and a little help from his friends. As a note: I have tons of worldbuilding done (probably way more than needed, as that was why the rewrites took so long. Depending on the reception here I might do more stories in the same universe and/or build a wiki with all my worldbuilding stuff.
