Nick ponders over the information given by Jakob for a few moments "you don't seem to mind the dark paths from how you talk about them , I figured most people would be naturally put off by them all things considered." He says curiously. Jakob chuckles "in my family it has always been taught that there is no evil cultivation only evil people, so most of us don't really mind how someone cultivates only the kind of person they are for example my dads best friend is an undead yin cultivator yet he is incredibly kind unless provoked." Jakob explains proudly. Nick nods as it does make sense to follow such a philosophy when dealing with other cultivators. Nick and jakob talk about the different cultivation paths for a while before eating and paying as they leave.

As they walk out they see a few generic street thugs surrounding an old man with golden gray hair . "you spread dirt on my new shoes you old geezer ,you better compensate me for this!" One of the thugs says with his arms crossed trying to look intimidating . the old man seems to cower down in fear "please sir I didn't mean to if I don't have any money how will I get money for my sick grandson!" The old man cries out pathetically . nick seeing this scene can't help but think of how cliche it is before realizing that would make him the hero who shows up and saves the day, not willing to see such a thing happen he walks over to the group throws a gold coin into the thugs crossed arms before grabbing the old man and calmly walking away all without saying a word. The thugs all look at each other confused before looking at the man who has the gold coin "boss, what just happened?" One of them asked. The man with the coin is visibly shaken as sweat coats his back waking up as the thug spoke. "That was a cultivator helping that old man " the thug with the coin says shocking the others. The other thugs turn to where nick walked away and shiver when they think about how close to death they were.

Meanwhile nick puts down the old man next to a medicine shop before flying off with jakob back to his house . the old man suddenly changes shape into his original form which is a very strong looking old cultivator who has a narrow gold tail swaying behind him wearing a white robe with red trim on his c.h.e.s.t and red pants with white trim at his waist ,this man is the same one from earlier old sun! "A fine seed that lad even took care of the problem at its sorce without anyone of those thugs the wiser a good seed indeed." Old sun says to no one in particular before he makes a odd whistle that cause a small cloud to come out of the sky before he jumps on it and flies into the air at a ridiculous speed. If any cultivator saw this they would be terrified because that cloud riding technique belongs to only one legendary existence the great sage of flower fruit peak sun wukong!

Nick and Jakob arrive back at jakobs house where nick decides to upgrade the forms there by removing the ones there and then replacing the energy gathering area to where it covers the whole house the same with the defensive and offensive array before creating two more arrays that particularly tailor to jakobs profession in honor of their newfound friendship. Jakob is thrilled at the new arrays and has nick make himself at home before nick goes off to the capital . a few days pass were nick and Jakob merely hang out and play video games that nick introduced to Jakob using the system . "ha first place again nick !" Jakob says triumphant after beating nick at mario kart .

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Both nick and Jakob look at each other before getting up and walking to the front door to see who was there. Nick opens the door only to see a piece of paper with two jade tokens on it . nick picks up the tokens and paper and reads what is written on the paper.
