Nick and Jakob arrive in the teleportation room were nick didn't immediately activate it but made a mental copy of it in his head for when he eventually settles down. "All ready to start a new adventure?" Nick asked jakob . jakob nods and nick activated the formation a blinding light flashes while the feeling of space being folded caused nick to become nauseous. Thankfully the feeling disappears as quickly as it appeared as they appear in a very similar room to the one they just left. "Welcome to modus city are you in need of accommodations?" The one who spoke was a average looking man with dark brown hair who looked about 20.
*DING*
*HOST has experienced spacial fluctuations and has a chance to comprehend the law of space would host like to do so?*
'What! Is there a time limit on that chance?'
*DING*
*Host has 30 minutes before the chance is gone, it is advised that host take the chance as soon as possible for the best outcome.*
Nick nods to the attendant and says "we need a safe place within 5 minutes and I'll pay top coin for it." The attendant was slightly startled by nick demands but immediately smiled widely. "Of course I have a small cultivator house that I can sell to you for a small fee that's a block away from here." He says in a salesman pitch. "Fine take care of the formalities quickly we have immediate need of it." Nick says. "Wonderful please follow me you merely need to sign a few papers and pay for it and the house is yours." The attendant led nick and jacob to a small room where he took out the bill of sale and contract for the house which nick read through before signing and paying for the house and stored away the deed and bill of sale as the attendant led them to the house. After nick and jakob saw the house they almost cursed the now sheepish attendant because the house was in a massive state of disrepair with broken windows and holes in the roof. When they turn towards the attendant the find him gone as their faces turn dark. "Sigh , we can fix it later for now let's go in side I need to do something ." nick says as he push open the front gate causing it to groan from the rust causing their faces to twitch . the yard was overgrown with weeds that had been allowed to survive so long that they gained spiritual properties. Nick calmly collected all of them for experiments before unlock the house and stepping inside. The inside of the house smelled like rot and dust which nick and Jakob ignored before choosing their own rooms nick used alchemic flame to completely purify the room leaving it completely b.a.r.e. Nick then set down an isolation array an energy gathering array and a notification array.

'Alright system I'll take that chance now.'
*Very well*
*Activating spacial training *
Nick was suddenly in what can only be described as a void with no sound or anything for that matter.
Just space.
Nick closed his eyes and focused on understanding what was going on around him , but he wasn't aware that without the system he wouldn't even be able to come anywere close to learning the space law .
Meanwhile jakob had set about fixing the house by first getting rid of almost everything in it before replacing the windows and sanding the outside walls to remove the faded and peeling paint where he was pleasantly surprised that the walls besides being dirty were as stable as ever. Jakob coated them with a new layer of paint and primer before moving to the roof. The roof needed to be completely redone but the structure was still stable so he simply applied a new roof and then tackled the yard. In the front yard he removed all the plant life on the surface of the soil before spreading mint grass seeds which he watered with a special fertilizer which caused them to sprout covering the front yard with the vibrate blue grass that released a sweet scent into the wind. The backyard was actually converted by the previous owner into an alchemist garden that had been taken over by weeds and spirit plants that might have been seeds left behind by the previous owner after seeing this Jakob decided to let nick take care of it since he had already done his share of the work on the house. Don't be fooled though all he has done took no more than 30 minutes for a cultivator at his level.

The Beta Test
Our nameless narrator participates in a beta test for an early VRMMO game Meridian 60. That's not the real name but it captures the spirit of the adventure given the chronological and contextual era of the game. His character is unique and special but purely for mundane reasons and not because of any inherent or social significance. The first chapter which is mandatory to submit a story on RR serves as a bit of a prologue with some exposition, although I limited that to a reasonble level. I plan to begin releasing additional chapters starting Thursday, to align with the 48 hour submission approval process and also because I have something to do Wednesday. I haven't written anything but the summary and first chapter, nor have I plotted anything out. This is because my plan is to release roughly 34000 words a day, 10 chapters of ~12.5 pages each, for 3 days at which point the story will be complete. I'd have liked to plan for more but handling the interface tables and so forth needed for a data heavy litrpg slows down the writing process. 100k words is a bit short, a standard pre epic fantasy 300 page spec fic novel, but this is mostly a writing exercise and I am considering a longer project if I can maintain the pace. Probably do a different concept, maybe a dungeon core, over 5 days, since a 500 page novel is more common these days. Slight subversion of VRMMO stories Stat heavy/crunchy No paying your bills by gaming No out of game conspiracies No angst, interpersonal drama, or damsels/dudes in distress Schedule is 30000 words a day excepting the first chapter, a limitation of RRs fiction submission system Fantasy, high magic, male lead, no party, guild, or harem No gore, some profanity, no sexual content, and no current plans for anything traumatic

Rocket Riders of the 27th Century is a science fiction book series that follows the adventures of Captain Harridor Tarsik and the crew of the rocketship Honshu as they make their way in a turbulent and highly competitive universe. One in a Billion
My name is Xelean, since I can remember I always saw strange shapes floating in my field of vision. When I asked my parents about it, they looked at me concerned, perhaps thinking that I had a vision problem. Seeing his reaction I quickly said that it was all a joke. However, when I learned to read, I understood a little better what those images with letters were thanks to the following message:'Congratulations soul of the multiversal soul flow!!! You are the soul number 1 Billion that will be born in the world to which you were destined, in consideration and because the current situation of the world, certain benefits will be granted:[User interface][Inspection][Accelerated balanced growth] Sincerely, The Hive.' ---------------------------------------------------- Author Note/Warning:English is not my first language. One of the reasons why I started writing this is to improve my writing skills, so if you see any errors, please leave a comment. In this work there may be similar things/references to different novels (from webnovel and outside of it), role-playing campaigns, movies, anime and manga; since they shaped the idea that I have of the stories and I think that, in part, many of the ideas that I have in mind are consciously or unconsciously inspired by them. New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))
