Nick understood what the system was saying almost immediately since it made sense if you thought about it. There was a sort of barrier that existed in all beings that separated them from the laws and its only after they pass through that barrier when they truly see every part of the world. Nick was lost in thought when three people broke through the treeline and into the clearing catching him slightly off guard. Nick shelved his distracting thoughts and focused his attention on the small group but deems them not a threat and chooses to ignore them. The faces of the three darken when they see how easily nick dismissed them. The woman looks over at the two men "this fellow seems to think we aren't worth his time right?" She says quietly. "Seems that way" one of the men said. "He doesn't look that strong but something about him makes me kinda nervous." The other man said while taking a glance at nick. The other two were a bit surprised by what the man said before they took another look at nick. The woman's eyes widen dramatically as she takes a few steps back in fear "we need to leave right now!" She says panicked. "What for?" one of the men asked confused. The woman takes a deep breath "neither of you saw it but I did ,that man right there destroyed half the platform during the second test and that platform was meant to withstand any attack under void realm." The two men were silent as the shock of this news goes through them. After they calmed down the group immediately vacated the area as quickly as they could. As soon as they left a snort of derision softly came from nearby almost inaudible the the b.a.r.e ear ,almost. The gets up quickly while on guard and releases his aura causing dust to fly away as well as let him roughly feel everything the surroundings. This sudden action greatly shocked the person in the shadows because before they can use their stealth technique nicks aura washes over them leaving them completely exposed. 'Dammit why couldn't he be weak I'll have to go all out to get away now.' The person in the shadows thinks before sending a fire ball towards nick while they try to flank him since they think he is distracted. As the fireball comes at him nick is surprised that this person thought they could use such a basic move as a distraction. He then uses his wisp of understanding for the devour law to block the fireball while he tracks the person with his senses. Something slightly comical happens when the devour law meets the fireball unlike the cancelation that nick was expecting the devour law actually took the shape of a mouth before eating the fireball and burping. nick actually stopped for a brief moment because the devour law actually sent a small amount of energy to him as well as a flavor causing nick to say something so funny the other person actually freezes for a minute from laughter. "Taste like strawberries." The tinkling sound of a woman laughing fills the area for an entire minute by which point nick has basically been standing in front of the same bandage covered girl who is apparently sun wulongs fiancé. Nick is patiently waiting for her to stop laughing so he can ask why she was watching him. After she stops laughing the girl looks at nick and sighs "its a shame I'm not marrying you something tells me you would be far more fun to marry than that block of stone back there." She says afterwards. Nick is taken aback "please be joking one strange girl wanting to marry me is plenty I don't need any more." He says seriously. The girl looks offended "I'm not strange!" She cried trying to defend herself. Nick looks at her sarcastically "you seem to be wearing nothing but bandages followed someone you know nothing about and the attacked said person for no reason , yeah TOTALLY not strange." Nick states matter of factly.
