Unlike what jakob was expecting he felt a warmth spread through his blood causing him to sigh in comfort , unfortunately this comfort vanished as soon as it covered his whole body being replaced with what he could only describe as liquid fire. on the outside jakob looked like he was being boiled alive as red steam began to rise from him and he writhed in agony on the ground. lo mia and the goddess both rushed forward to try and help him but nick stopped them "he is not in danger in fact after he recovers from this i imagine he'll actually thank me." nick said causally. the goddess had no idea what nick was talking about but lo mia had an idea. "you didn't give him the method to strengthen his body further did you!?" lo mia exclaimed. the goddess heard what lo mia said and was stunned. "you have a method to strengthen the body further !?" she exclaimed. nick shook his head at the twos actions. "first yes i do have a body strengthening method second no i did not give it to jakob." nick said firmly before looking over at the goddess "and before you ask no you can't have it" he said cutting off what she was about to say entirely. the goddess pouted fiercely when nick denied her before she could even ask. lo mia looked at jakob confused after hearing that nick didn't give jakob the strengthening method. "if you didn't give him the method what is going on with him?" she asked confusion on her face.

nick grinned "i gave him two pills that together accomplish the same thing." he said stunning both of the women. "can i at least have those?" both lo mia and the goddess asked at the same time. nick chuckled. "i don't mind though as you can see the process is ever so slightly painful." nick said while pointing at jakob on the ground in agony. the two women pale slightly when they thought about putting themselves through such suffering. "you could make it painless right?" lo mia asked hopeful. nick shook his head "due to the way the strengthening is done if it was painless there is a high chance of something going wrong , though if it helps it is only that level of pain the first time you go through the process." nick said simply. both of the women look disappointed and then they catch onto a piece of information that nick unintentionally shared. "how many times have you gone through this process?" lo mia asked. nick froze when he heard her but then sighed at his lack of forethought when he spoke. "i myself have gone through this process over a thousand times to reach my current body strength." he said honestly. both lo mia and the goddess were shocked at the ridiculous amount of pain nick had put himself through to reach his current power. "out of curiosity what is your current level of your body?" the goddess asked. nick thought about it for a moment but could see how the information could be harmful "i am only at the third major change for body refinement which makes me almost immune to any weapon below tier five." nick said stunning both the women yet again.
