Jakob left the cavern with azdra with a worried expression coming in face to face with his father who was waiting for him outside. "what was his decision?" the clan leader asked seriously. jakob bowed as etiquette dictates "he said he needs to meet nick first." jakob answered honestly. the clan leader frowned "that would mean he would have to be brought here." he said rather unhappy. jakob remained silent. "well there's no helping it and i just cleared up the issue with the two recipes he gave us to." the clan leader said with a sigh. jakob perked up when he heard his father "what issue was there with the recipes?" jakob asked curiously. "oh well the clan alchemist all said that the ingredients for the recipes did indeed have some of the properties needed to make those two pills however if they were refined into a pill it would only create a horrible poison so the two recipes were useless , but i personally watched your friend refine a batch of each of the pills so our alchemist probably made a mistake." the clan leader explained to jakob calmly.

"I see." jakob said while instantly figuring out the ruse nick pulled. "well i suppose we should go get him right?" jakob asked calmly. the clan leader nodded before they both vanished. meanwhile nick was cultivating when he felt the clan leaders aura from outside again which caused him to crease his brow. 'he shouldn't have returned so quickly , could he know i used a different method?' nick wondered mentally before standing up and walking out of the house for the second time today. " oh jakob you are here , so how'd it go?" nick said while relaxing once he saw jakob. "the guardian said he wanted to meet you before he he decides anything." jakob said honestly. nick was surprised by this but accepted anyway. "that is fine lead on." nick said before the three vanished from their location. in truth they didn't vanish so much as the clan leader instantly relocated them to the front of the cavern. nick looked around noting all the exits before he walked into the cavern cautiously. nick immediately noticed the gigantic wyrm and grew tense as his instinct warned him how out of his league he was. "so you are the one who is raising the little one." nick heard a deep baritone voice rumble through the cave.

"That is correct." nick said while suppressing his anxiety. the wyrm raised its head before bringing it closer to nick . " you are unworthy therefore i am going to take the little one from you." the wyrm said coldly. a sense of coldness filled nicks mind as wrath began to take hold of it.

*DING*

*Suppressing extreme emotions.... suppression failed..... preparing for collateral.*

Nicks vision went red as his full power was unleashed and an aura of destruction radiated from him as the land began to quake and the sky turned grey. the clan leader grabbed jakob and fled because he knew as soon as that aura of destruction appeared he would die if he stayed. the elder wyrm had an incredulous expression as even he felt immense danger from nick at this moment. knowing that this situation was because he tested nick the wrong way he decided he would fix this by knocking nick unconscious. with a mighty roar the wyrm slammed its tail towards nick and before anything bad happened knocked nick out with a sneak attack from behind.
