Nick looked at jakob and sighed "more or less i have to complete some crazy test." he said depressed. jakob was confused "the test can't be that hard right?" he asked curiously. nick shook his head "i have to bring him a stygian bear." he said honestly. the clan leader and jakob were both stunned at the test. "that's crazy hard!" jakob exclaimed. the clan leader nodded "it is indeed a tall order for you to take down such a beast at your current strength , though the guardian never ask for the impossible so you can do so it seems." he said while trying to figure out exactly how strong nick truly is. "it is difficult true but i could do it however what if i increase my strength?" nick said with a clever grin. both the clan leader and jakob were taken back by nicks thought but after some further thought indeed if nick raised his strength first the difficulty would drop considerably. "how much stronger do you think would do?" jakob asked seriously. nick rubbed in thought before speaking "well i will definitely breakthrough into void chasing first but i think increasing my body strengthening by two levels should suffice." nick said calmly.

"Oh , right that reminds me since we have those recipes what are the realms in body strengthening since you are the pioneer of the field you probably have already named them right?" the clan leader asked seriously. nick gave him an odd look but decided he would humor him. "so far there are only five tiers broke into five different segments based on what part of the body has been further refined. the five tiers from lowest to highest are earth ,wood , copper , bronze and iron jakob is only in the second stage of earth tier while i am in the first stage of bronze tier. the order of the stages is blood , flesh , organs , bones and skin as for any further tiers i create you won't need to know those since the two recipes will only work till the first stage of wood tier." nick explained seriously. the clan leader memorized what nick said before putting it into a jade but frowned when nick told him the limit of the two recipes the clan now has. "you have recipes for higher tiers don't you?" the clan leader asked hopefully.

Nick nodded "i have pills that would take me to the iron rank but i simply can't refine anything beyond there yet however before you ask no you can't have the recipes." nick said shooting down the clan leaders hope mercilessly. "but surely we could come to some sort of agreement right?" the clan leader refused to give up. nick shook his head "not right now we can't , maybe when i have advanced so far that no one can hope to catch up will i consider it." he said seriously. the clan leader looked dejected but had no choice but to accept nicks stance. meanwhile all the welk clans alchemist were furiously trying to figure out why they couldn't refine those pills but it was one of the apprentices that caused them to figure it out when the apprentice asked if they weren't refining the pill right to begin with. this question thundered through the alchemist heads as they all figured out that the reason they couldn't refine those pills was that they were using the wrong method.
