A mutant is a mortal plant that broke free of its mortal limits by absorbing the qi in the surroundings either strengthening themselves or gaining additional properties thereby making them a completely new species. this flower in particular appeared to have only just changed so it still bore the appearance of the plant it used to be , a simple white lily. however unlike a white lily this flower was twice as large as well as the petals had taken on thin red stripes straight down the middle giving the flower an amazing contrast that was only further enhanced by the weak glow emanating form it. nick frowned however when he noticed that the flower was struggling to survive since it couldn't get enough qi after its breakthrough due to the low level of qi in the area. bellania walked around the tree and gasped when she saw the massive red and white lily that stood between the roots of the tree. "oh , wow what a pretty flower and so large as well." she said amazed before she realized that she had never seen a flower like this in the garden before. Nick reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle of spirit water from his inventory. "what is that ?" she asked curiously. nick didn't answer before he opened the lid of the bottle and poured out a few drops onto the mutant before closing the bottle and putting it back into his pocket where it entered his inventory again. the mutant which was drooping down absorbed the few drops of spirit water and the results were obvious. first the flower visibly straightened before the dull glow it had in increased in intensity as the red stripes expanded until the petals of the flower were equal parts red and white before the final change occurred where the flower grew a size larger.
