Nick walked for about an hour before he arrived outside the gate to the hartfell mansion where he had the gate keeper inform the family of his arrival. after waiting for three minutes the gatekeeper returned and opened the gate to let nick in. nick was then led by the gatekeeper to the entryway of the mansion where he was instructed to wait before the gatekeeper returned to his post. nick sat on one of the fancy chairs by the wall while he waited for the next fifteen minutes in silent contemplation. after that time nicks sharp senses heard the sounds of four feet walking towards him from the dining area where he assumed they likely just finished their breakfast. the door to nicks right opens and through it the entire hartfell family walks out all dressed in finery much the same as nick. "i hope you forgive us for the delay we were in the middle of our meal when we received notice of your arrival." lucian said calmly. nick shook his head "it's quite alright , it is my fault for my early arrival so the wait was no bother." he said politely.

Lucian nodded "that's good to hear and i imagine you aren't here empty handed as well?" he asked with a sly grin. nick reached into his jacket and mysteriously pulled out the ingot of steel. "this is a type of metal that hasn't been found yet that has all the benefits of iron but is far stronger." nick said before handing the ingot to lucian. "and after the party I'll tell you how to make more." nick said with a sly grin of his own. lucian unwrapped the ingot and looked it over carefully but couldn't see much difference from normal iron except for the darker coloration. nick noticed lucians expression when he checked the ingot and pulled out a dagger made of steel and handed it to lucian. "this is a dagger made of the same material if you have an iron weapon i will show you the difference." nick said seriously. lucian looked skeptical but grabbed an iron dagger from a well hidden place behind his back before holding it out. nick grabbed the two daggers and using the steel dagger cut through the iron dagger in one fluid motion before showing the steel dagger to lucian.

Lucian was stunned at the show nick just put on and looked at the steel dagger that besides for a tiny inconsistency was completely fine in amazement. "truly and amazing metal do you mind if i keep this dagger seeing as you have cut my other into two parts?" lucian asked in amazement. nick shrugged "seeing as i did indeed destroy your other by all means keep it but once i give you the method to create the material my part of our deal is done." nick said seriously. lucian nodded before the group left the mansion before boarding two different carriages lucian , victoria and ivan in one and nick and bellania in the other.
