nick was not surprised by the systems description since many mutants likely had similar ones but the thing that interested nick was the part about it being able to evolve further since he was curious had far it could change. the creature in question was completely unaware that it was about to be exposed to horrifying experiments by the very prey it was searching for. nick calmly knocked the bird out before carrying over his shoulder back to his residence not carrying above the shocked look he was getting from the few citizens who were braving the dark streets. nick arrived at his residence where he found bellania waiting still though she was alone this time sitting with her back against the entrance. "Oh , is there something else you need?" nick asked drawing her attention from the book she was reading.

Closing the book bellania raised her head to see nick standing there with a massive bird dr.a.p.ed over his shoulder like some kind of strange decoration and the words she had been wanting to say died in her throat. nick saw what she was looking at " ah , this thing had the audacity to try and hunt me earlier so i figured i'd bring it back and force it to evolve a few times to satisfy my curiosity." he explained casually. bellania was astonished that a beast such as that seemed little more than a fun play thing to nick but given the little bits of strength he had shown it didn't surprise her all that much. "actually i was here to inform you that the few people who know a thing or two about cultivation in this kingdom have decided to have the basic technique taught to some loyal soldiers so they can do as you recommended and hunt beast to offset the lack of food." she said while standing up. nick rubbed his chin for a moment before nodding "i suppose that would be fine since i'm not responsible for any actions someone else does , in the mean time how would you like to see what it looks like when a creature evolves?"

"Wait you mean i can come inside ?!" bellania asked in excitement. nick nodded " yeah because if this thing got away after evolving lets just say starving would be the least of your troubles." he said ominously. "it can't that bad right?" bellania asked seriously. "truthfully speaking if i succeed in making this thing evolve it will be at least five times stronger than any creature on this planet currently with the exception of myself of course." nick said honestly. bellania was horrified "why would you want to create something like that?" she asked confused. "well back when i was little i had heard about an extremely powerful creature that was a mixture between a lion and an eagle but i later learned it didn't exist so i want to see if i can turn a bird into that creature."
