Joseph may not understand what entirely was different with the results of this last test but even he could tell that whatever it was had excited this mysterious and powerful person called mark. having come to the conclusion that mark truly meant well he reassured the little girl behind him while having her step forward. the little girl fidgeted nervously with her head down "my name is mina and i found this really pretty box when i went to the market yesterday and i brought it home with me but i couldn't find it when i got up today ." she said nervously. nick nodded "it would seem you are quite lucky to find that thing , though it means i will need to change my plans a bit i am happy to do so for you." he said kindly. "why would you need to change your plans for me?" mina asked confused. "thanks to that box you found as well as your own innate talents you unlike most people have no limits on what you can be successful in be it elements or professions and as a result in order for your talent to not be wasted i will need to teach you personally."

Mina was stunned at how much freedom she had to learn compared to the other orphans since she had seen that only a few of them had the talents required to thrive at even two professions much less all of them. after settling mina with the others who had taken the test nick had the last four orphans take it as well with average results with the exception of joseph whose results surprised nick a little. when joseph placed his hand on the orb it lit up even brighter than when mina did so however unlike mina only two colors showed up , the first being red for fire and the second being green for wood , soon the two colors swirled within the orb before congealing into the shape of a tree with red and green streaks swirling on every part of it. seeing this nick chuckled slightly before speaking "no wonder you learned alchemy so well it turns out you have a sage talent for the profession." he said with a look of joy. joseph was confused at what nick said and it showed so nick spoke again "i wasn't going to mention sage talents since they are extremely rare but since you have one it now becomes necessary."

"So in this world there are six basic elements as well as various offshoot elements as well but those are not important for this topic. the six basic elements are earth, fire, water, air and wood , now most people are innately attuned to every one of these elements but are more talented in some rather than others which is how we figure out what professions one is innately talented in. sage talented people instead are only attuned to certain elements so distinctly that when tested only those elements show up in some shape that determines if they are also gifted with the profession that uses those elements. for example alchemy requires both fire and wood for compatibility but if the sage talent is not in the shape of a plant then they only have average talent in alchemy and the talent is for some other profession depending on the shape taken. but even amongst sage talents there are distinction based on the order the shape falls under like how trees are the highest order of plants while grass is the lowest." nick explained.
