"However there is a problem with sage talents that is well recorded and that is that regardless of what kind of talent it is the person who possesses the talent will have a near addiction like need to do whatever they are talented in which doesn't seem that bad at first glance but if you are trapped with limited ingredients for alchemy with a group of friends and family and you run out of ingredients you will first start to get anxious then you will get increasingly irritable before you turn on the others to use them as ingredients in a pill which will immediately calm you down before this process repeats until you either get free or die from using yourself as an ingredient." nick said solemnly. "i would never do such a thing!" joseph vehemently refused. nick sighed "i won't say that it is impossible to resist those urges but unfortunately the actual likely hood is that you most likely won't even realize you are having them because your conscious mind will rationalize your thoughts by making you think its necessary for survival." he explained with a look of pity.

All the orphans looked horrified at this revelation as most of them recoiled slightly away from joseph while he also looked horrified. "the good news is that your sage talent belongs to one of the professions that is the easiest to satisfy." nick said honestly. "oh what do you mean?" joseph asked hopefully. "obviously you are not the first person with a sage talent so once this huge drawback was discovered many researched how to offset it without paying a horrible price and eventually found that only certain professions can be lessened since they didn't have high material requirements while others were truly hopeless. luckily alchemy was one of the ones that had a method for relief." nick said calmly. "what is the method " jakob asked anxiously. "for alchemy a pill called nature purge was created that made it so an alchemy sage talent could maintain reason. the way it works is through the creation of a pill using whatever has trapped you as an ingredient as well as a single drop of your own blood thus letting you fulfill the requirement of pill creation." nick said honestly. "don't worry to much I'll teach you how to make one later." nick said before changing the subject.

"Anyway now that we have determined what everyone's talents are lets head over to the library so i can give each of you a basic elementless cultivation manual as well as a basic manual for one weapon of your choice as well as your profession if you have the talent for one." nick said while walking to a room on the left side of the hall. the orphans followed excitedly as they walked into the library where books lined every wall with multiple copies next to each other orderly. nick then floated up from the ground and took down a few copies from the shelves before landing again calmly while the orphans watched in awe.
