Nick arrived just outside lumis where he slowed down rapidly before landing next to millea who grinned at him smugly. "don't act like you didn't have a huge advantage." nick said slightly salty from his loss. millea shrugged "you can't really blame me when you almost have the strength of a ascendant noble right after breaking through you monster!" she complains cheekily. nick can't really blame her since he is well aware of his own monstrous strength. nick and millea walk through lumis in a relaxed manner before heading back to the base where nick went into millea's dark space in order to test his new strength and the shear difference from before he ascended was like heaven and hell , absolutely incomparable. after ascending nick could flick his finger with the same force as a full strength punch before he ascended not including the fiend god transformation. the biggest difference though was that he felt like some weight that was on his shoulders had been removed making every use of his strength feel smooth unlike before where it felt stifled like something was pushing in the opposite direction. after nick tested his strength he left the dark space in order to get some rest.
Nick took it easy until the convention only improving his professions to the next level since he could support them with his ascended energies after which his status looked like this. ______________________________________________________________________
