///// Ama's 3rd Person POV /////
///// After Vincent's Departure/////
"Leave this forest, it doesn't feel safe." She imitated Vincent as she sauntered deeper into the forest.
"Tch, Who does he think he is?" She said frustrated
Contradicted to the cold face she puts on, Ama's face at this moment was struck with anger which perplexes her.
"*Sigh* Focus Ama.", Se said while de-stress.
"Just need to earn more points. The first place rewards should procure me a lot of benefits."
As she walked deeper, A sudden rumble veered through the ground shaking her footing.
*Rumble!*
"Huh, What was that?" Confusedly said Ama, inquisitive about the abrupt rumbling.
Before she could explore further, The rumbling came again, albeit stronger.
Her instincts went off flaring, She felt it.
Danger, Killer Intent, Madness.
It was so vivid that the sole thing her instinct said was.
Run!
Ama was never someone to falter.
She soon spun and began to run oppositely away from the oncoming threat.
As she flashed through the forest, she glanced back at the approaching peril, what she saw sent shivers down her spine.
Loads and loads of Dark Beasts, pushing towards her climbing on top of the fallen ones brazing through every obstacle like it was nothing, with crazed stares in their bloodshot eyes.
She was so spooked by the sight that she soon used the life-saving feature of the device on her wrist.
A shame that it did not work
'What is wrong with this thing?!' She thought in anger.
As she ran, Ama kept on trying the life-saving feature but her device came off to have malfunctioned.
Instead, she concentrated on sprinting through the forest.
She knew that she could only run so fast, The flood of Dark Beast soon catching up to her.
Understanding that running was only delaying the impending doom, Ama thought of making another plan.
She had an idea of using her Earth Manipulation to make an underground opening.
But she then thought back to the Dark Beasts that are apt to tunneling underground.
'There might even be some already there.' She guessed.

As she ran, She saw a blurry figure on the trees.
The closer she went the clearer the figure came to be until Ama was able to recognize the person.
'Vincent!'
'His device might be working' She speculated in relief.
'I just need to hold onto him as it activates, It should also take me if I tag along.'
'Yes that'll work'
When Ama was close enough she shouted to Vincent.
"The device!" She shouted.
/////Vincent's POV /////
"The device!" Ama shouted at me
I had an idea of what she was saying, So I pronto got on my device and locked onto the life-saving feature about to push it.
But then I glimpsed at her. Something in me did not let me leave her.
It seemed that I still had kindness, something I thought to have lost since I ate the ancestors of an entire clan and stole its legacy
Well, Technically, now I do confirm as a Planar Giant since I have their blood.
This means that I may very well be the last descendant of the Planar Giant.
So it's not stealing, It's just taking what was meant to be mine.
Anyways back to this.
"Jump!" I shouted ready to push it.
And so she did, A surge of ether broke out beneath her aiding her jump to me.
I reached out to her and at the moment's touch, I turned on the device.
Nothing happened.
'Huh.' I thought in surprise, 'What's wrong with this thing'
At the sense of the impending doom caused by the device.
I unconsciously activated a passive of the Eidetic Library of Knowing for the first time.
My perception of things fastened, enabling me to perceive things at a slower pace.
The stampeding Dark Beasts.
The jumping lady had hope and concern on her face.
All went at snail's pace.
I glanced at the device on my wrist, uttering profanities for its uselessness, and thus tried to think up another plan fast
Furthermore, I saw my perception was returning to regular speed.
Losing time, I gripped Ama's outstretched hand and opened a portal under us to the first place that came up in my mind.

*Whoosh*
Next thing I knew I felt sudden weightlessness and wind slapping against my face.
I glanced around, finding myself plunging from the sky
'Shit! I teleported to the sky'
'Wait where's Ama'
I saw Ama free falling beside me, her eyes closed for some reason.
Then I looked below and faltered at my current situation
I was free-falling into a pool of Dark Beasts.
'Shit!'
Understanding how dire the situation was, I shifted mid-air to Ama's position and grabbed again, readying Portal Maker this time with a clear image of where I wanted to go.
The skill was triggered and a portal opened beneath me and Ama, swallowing us both.
/////3rd Person POV/////
This time Vincent found himself on his bed with Ama laying on top of him
"Phew" He let out a breath of relief that the skill Portal Maker worked out fine at the end of the day.
Soon he felt a shift from the person on my chest.
"Hmm."
Ama raised herself groggily using Vincent's chest as a hold.
She looked around confused at the unfamiliar room she was in.
As she shifted to look around, her bum hit something beneath her, drawing her attention to smiling Vincent.
Ama jumped in surprise and went on guard, conjuring floating ether spikes.
Vincent could sense that the spikes contained a decent amount of ether, although it wasn't enough to damage him.
"Are you going to put your toys away?" Vincent slyly asked.
"My Toys.", She stretched moving closer to him., "Are very capable of riddling your body with holes."
Vincent kept silent for a moment shifting his head to the door of his room then replied.
"You know I wonder." He began
"Will the next person that enters my room see a body riddled with holes?"
Then he turned to Ama with mocking eyes, "Or a body burnt extra crispy."
Feeling a great source of heat behind her, She turned to see a carpet of fire infused with lightning flooring menacingly behind her.
'This is dangerous.' She thought.
Ama quietly withdrew her ether, dispersing the floating ether spikes, and got off Vincent's chest
She then went to the door and opened it, "I'll go report to the instructors about the stampede."
"A word of advice, some forces are moving underneath. Be careful of them"
"And thank you," She said quietly before moving out and closing the door behind her.
After she left, Vincent withdrew his ether making the floating wall of fire lightning disperse into nothingness.
He laid back on his bed and thought to himself,
"Is this what they call a tsun-tsun situation?", He chuckled at the notion, then thought of the advice she had said
" Forces underneath huh" He muttered.
"I don't care about them. But if they try to hinder me."
"I'll destroy them," He said with a cold face.
Vincent hence got off his bed and went to the cafeteria.
On the way there, A sudden strong voice familiar to Vincent echoed through the entire school.
'Instructor Pryde.' He recognized
"Attention students of Aemplefort and participators of the Hunt event."
"A stampede of Dark Beasts is en route to Aemplefort at this moment."
"While it is seen as a peril to the weak, it can also be seen as a gift to the strong."
"For those unwilling to face the stampede, Stay in the school!"
"A force field will be erected across the entire city protecting those within it."
"As for those willing to face the stampede, The school will record each kill with a double point."
"Furthermore, Anyone that kills more than 10 Dark Beasts will be rewarded."
"Please note, The school will not force you to make a decision."
"Also the reward given is separate from the event's reward."
"Good luck"
The voice went mute after but the school did not.
Voices of concern and fear went on throughout the school.
As for Vincent, He simply smiled as he went on to the cafeteria.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
