"Veronica didn't ask anything? Very weird." I'm still in Alexander's workroom and sitting on his lap, describing my meeting with Veronica.

"I guess so." We looked at each other for a moment. Alex sighed.

"We'll see what information it provides later. There must be developments in the future. These months too we can't do anything with the follow-up information, unless they make a dangerous move then I will act. After the war is over I'll take care of this. You must remember that you cannot leave without your bodyguard." I nodded in understanding.

"I'm sorry you have to face a threat like this." Alex stroked my hair.

I just smiled a little, this is already a package I have to receive. A position comes with consequences. This world is a world where the strongest win. And a fear will do nothing. You have to learn to overcome it and make yourself stronger.

"And I'll love you my whole life." He looked me in the eye when he said it. For a moment everything seemed to fade around me. My heart warms and is happy because of his statement of love.

"I love you too" I reply to his words with all my heart. Happiness trailed in my chest, making my cheeks warm up and my eyes warm up.

"Go away, Leonard's waiting for you, it's rude to let him wait a long time. I'm going to the Pyrenees see what I can help there. And I want to learn my mind with Ourinko as soon as I can, before he gets too busy in front." I banished him before I became whiny because of the melancholy feeling that overcomes me now.

"Maybe I'll come home late, I'll tell you later." He gives a brief kiss before budging away.

"Alright" I took it off to then open the vortex to Pyreness.

These days I rotate between Pyreness, London and Paris. Ourinko is busy with formation strengthening and I have to wait for him to be able to make time for me. Finally, a few days later one afternoon he came to see me.

"Alexa, I'm ready to teach you. I see you are at your peak." Ourinko chased me in the hallway while I was going to the student cafeteria.

"Of course, let's eat first."

We rushed in and grabbed our food and looked for a seat.

"You still receive threats of attack? The stab wound that yesterday has fully healed?"

We sat facing the large windows on the north side of the large cafeteria, watching the legions train.

"It's completely recovered, luckily I still managed to block the attack to my heart, but thanks to the spell pendant you gave, they can't even touch me anymore" I cheerfully explained to Ourinko.

"What attack is Alexa? Who attacked you in your heart? What are you two talking about?"

A voice left me speechless, and looked at Ourinko with fear. And I timidly turned my body looking back hoping that what I heard was wrong. Please! My back immediately felt cold.

"Mom! Since when have you…" I was speechless. While Mother glared at me. Ourinko stared in surprise when he saw who was behind us.

"Alexa! I'm waiting for your explanation !? Ourinko, what are you talking about?" Mother took turns looking at the two of us.

"Madam" Ourinko gave me a tense look. While I was thinking hard what to say.

"You don't try to make up Alexa's story, I'll report this to your grandfather right now. Who were you attacked in Paris!? I'm going to make this problem big, if you guys don't speak the truth."

Ourinko gave me a resigned look. I'm helpless, I have to lobby my mother so this problem doesn't get to Grandpa.

"Fine Mom, I'll tell you" My hunger was gone because of Mother's gaze.

"Move over there" Mother pointed to a table at the end of the cafeteria, separate from the crowd. She had no intention of letting us go to negotiate making up stories. I thought about various scenarios in my head as I walked.

As soon as we sat down, Mother immediately folded her arms across her chest to initiate the interrogation. I memorized his trademark style when he asked people.

"Starting from you, Mr. Ourinko. Tell me what's going on? I don't trust my daughter, she's too smart to make up stories. If you lie and something happens to him later. I will hold you partly responsible. " My mother immediately started with threats.
