Stella Canali's POV

I cannot believe it. I was sleeping with Xavier last night and the red spot on the bed was the evidence to show that I was giving myself to him.

A smile formed on my face.

We got up and we took a shower together. Xavier was a very attentive lover. I love that about him and I think he would be a great father to our children. Wait, what? Why was I thinking that far?

We just met 4 days ago but I think this was the best give that I ever had in my life. Aside from my inheritance, my good breeding, and name. I think Xavier was the one that wanted me for me.

I sighed as he was kissing my neck while his hands were cleaning my breasts under the faucet. I can sense his boner was kicking behind him as my butt was making contact with it.

"My love?"

"Hmm," I answered lazily as I was looking at him. His eyes were dark with desire and I think I liked it as it was only for me.

"It seems that I can get enough of you," he said as he was kissing my throat. I leaned back as I was giving some access to him.

"Then, what's stopping you from taking me?"

"I thought you might be sore from our activity last night," he said amused as I can feel the blush was creeping on my cheeks and neck. It has been hours and hours of lovemaking before I finally felt exhausted as he just chuckled at me.

"Hmm, I think I can manage one more," I said as I turned to push his back against the walls. He smirked at me before he took my chin in his hand as his thumb was caressing my lower lips.

"Kiss me," he said and I did it. I kissed him. He groaned before he hauled me up and I was wrapping my legs around his torso.

"It seems that I can never get enough of you, my love,"

"Then, take it," and that was the last thing I said before we heard low moans and slapping of fleshes in the bathroom.

After the shower, Xavier told me that he wanted to take me somewhere. I arched my eyebrow at him as he was wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Relax, I wanted to introduce you to my family. You're not afraid are you, my love?" He asked before I straightened my back.

"I am not," I said before Xavier was walking us into the forest. I was afraid at first with the legends that Sam told me yesterday but I think I will be safe if Xavier was beside me.

"Is your house in the forest?" I asked as I was holding his hand tightly, refused to let it go.

"Yes,"

"Don't you afraid to live out here, away from everyone?" I asked as I was remembering the stories that Sam told me. I was gulping as I looked around the pine trees before Xavier chuckled.

"Nothing can hurt us, believe me," he said before I was walking close to him. We stepped in front of the house. It was not too shabby but it was quaint with its charms.

"Xavier, is that you?" Someone asked as the older woman was coming out of the house.

"Mama, I wanted you to meet Stella. Stella, this is my mum," Xavier said as he switched to French with his mum. I understood everything that they were talking about. And they were talking about me.

"People have been whispering that you were mating with a human. And now you bring her home. Xavier, what are you thinking? Does Caleb knows?" His mum asked in French as he grunted under his breath. He cursed before his hand around my waist tighten.

"I will handle it later. But first, I wanted you to meet my mate," he replied as he turned to look at me. He smiled as I smiled back at him.

"Your mate?"

"Yes, mama, Stella is my mate as I have claimed her last night," Xavier said as I felt blush was in my cheeks at his claim.

"Well, that makes sense now. No wonder your scent changed," his mum answered.

Scent? What kind of scent was she talking about? I can only smell breakfast and it was growling my stomach even more. We did not stop for breakfast as Xavier was eager to bring me home.

"Well, why don't we talk over breakfast? It seems that Stella was hungry," Xavier said in English as he was glistening at me. I turned away before his mother sighed.

"Of course," his mum replied in English before we were inside. There were foods on the table and my mouth watered at the sight.

"I hope it was to your liking?" The older woman said as I nodded at her.

"This is wonderful. Thank you, I never had homemade cooking before," I said before Xavier's hand was tightening around me. Some commotion was outside the house Xavier was cursing under his breath.

"Damn it, he knows things fast," he mumbled before his mother went to take me away. Xavier was going outside the house, ready to pounce on someone.

"What's going on?" I asked as his mum was bringing me upstairs.

"Nothing to concern about. Xavier will handle it," his mum said before we were inside the bedroom. I hoped that he does.

Xavier Marchand's POV

I went to look outside that Caleb was passing around with Zack leaning against the gate. I went out of the house as I shoved my hands inside my pockets.

"What's going on?" I asked Caleb as he stopped in front of me.

"Did I smell human in our territory?" He said as his eyes were menacing at me. I crossed my hands in front of me.

"That depends. What are you going to do about it?" I asked him. He growled as I was ready to protect what's mine.

"You know our laws. We cannot have humans here! Now, what will others say?" He snarled at me. I snarled back. No one threatened what was belonged to me.

"She's not an ordinary human, Caleb. She's my mate," I said.

"A human? Your mate?" He asked as he was not believing this. I nodded at him curtly.

"Yes,"

"Did you tell about our secrets yet?" He asked. My jaw clenched as I was shaking head.

"No, and I don't intend to do it. I was hoping to talk to you," I said as I turned to look at Caleb. He arched his eyebrow at me as I sighed.

"I was hoping to have your permission to leave the island, to stay with my mate in Italy," I said as I was wishing that he would understand. He should be as I know how much it pained him to be separated from his Luna.

Caleb was thinking as he was pacing back and forth. He turned to me as he sighed.

"You know once you leave you can never come back,"

"It's worth the sacrifice to be with my mate," I said as I was ready to do anything so that I will keep Stella by my side. Caleb sighed as he turned to look at me.

"Then, I shall release you from your duty," he said as he was patting my shoulder. It hurt me but I think my heart bloomed as I don't have to keep it up.

No more duties.

No more secrets.

Only my future with Stella mattered.

"Thank you, Alpha," I said as I bowed at him before he turned to look at Zack.

"Zack, since you were the Omega of the pack, I promoted you to be Beta as Xavier will be Omega then," Caleb said as he was looking at me, sadness in his eyes.

"Yes, Alpha," Zack replied as I was nodding at him. Caleb looked at me before he hugged me.

"Safe travels,"

"Thank you, my friend," I said as I was patting his back. He sighed as he went to leave the compound with Zack. I turned to look at the house before my mum was looking from the window. I see that she heard everything. Her eyes were glistening with tears.

I sighed as I need to tell her what will happen next and I hoped that Stella did not mind it.

I was standing at the airport as I was carrying my backpack only. I know this was scary but with Stella by my side, I know I can handle it.

"Are you nervous?" Stella asked me as she was staring at me. I took her hand and kissed her knuckles.

"Maybe, this is my first time flying," I said as I was chuckling at her. Stella smiled before she kissed my cheeks.

"You're unbelievable,"

"You want me so you have to deal with it," she said before the announcer asked for the passengers to Italy to board the plane.

"Well, here's goes nothing," I said as I was taking her hand.

"For our future,"

"Forever," I said as we were on the plane and left the island forever.
