Chapter 11

Andy was waiting alone inside a café a few blocks away from the University. Rina has contacted her to meet up after school to discuss matters about their Project.

She ordered a slice of chocolate cake along with a cup of coffee as she wait; licking her mouth with every bite of the cake. Oh, how she loves sweets.

Rina arrived after some time with two other people in tow. Andy's heart automatically thumping at the sight of them. Well, more on because of a specific girl to be precise.

She relax herself as the group joined her on the table.

"So now, we know that this Project Proposal would take a lot of time to finish. So we need to plan our schedule taking into account that we have classes." Donna started the discussion.

The three listened intently.

"I think we need a quiet and comfortable place for us to think rationally and do our tasks effectively in order to successfully finish this Project. What do you think?" She continued.

"A place huh," Andy said. "What about a café like this?"

"Yeah, this will do." Rina answered while looking around. "But it would cost us, you see?"

She's waving the receipts of their orders.

" So what are you suggesting?"

Rina inhaled then looked at Erika's direction.

"What about a sleep over in your apartment this weekend?"

Erika's brows met. Anyone can tell that she's against it.

Well, Rina already know the reaction she will get anyway. She just tried.

She knew Erika ever since first year. She also has been into a couple of sleep over at Erika's place but ... as a friend she can talk to and never did as a classmate she can work with school related tasks.

Erika does not like anyone invading her place.

Rina could only put her face behind her palm. She looked at Andy on her side.

"How about yours?"

"M…mine?" Andy stuttered. "How about Rey's?"

Rina turned her head to Rey then rolled her eyes back to Andy.

"He's out of the question."

"Well," Andy paused. She's gathering her thoughts. "How about yours Rina?"

Rina chuckled. "I live with my family. I have four younger siblings to disturb us."

Exhaling deeply, "Fine, in my apartment then." Andy agreed while rubbing the back of her neck unconsciously.

Rina slammed the table a little louder than intended expressing her joy.

"But there is a problem," Andy said. "Boy's are not allowed to stay over."

She looked at Rey apologetically.

Rina just waved her hand in front of her face.

"Nah, Rey is not coming with us. He's not going to be of any help anyway."

"What?" Rey reacted. "You sounded like I'm that incompetent Rina."

"You can have my card and buy anything you need for the Project." He reasoned.

"You can buy groceries too and anything you want." He added while placing the card in the table.

Rina did not gave him attention and continued to address Andy.

"This guy here is just so lucky to get Erika as partner."

Andy threw a worried look at Erika. The girl noticed it.

"I prefer to work alone anyway." She said looking back to Andy.

Rina clapped her hands to end their meeting.

"So it's settled then." Pointing her finger to Andy, "In your apartment tomorrow after class."

"Tomorrow?" Andy curiously asked.

"Yeah, the day after tomorrow is weekend. So… we can have more time." She winked.

Andy could not react. She's not yet ready for that.
