Chapter 66

KAILEEN ANDY LEWIS

I woke up late in the morning so I rushed to fix myself up for school.

I ran out out of my apartment looking a mess; untidy shirt; untidy hair.

I also grabbed my sandwich along and was panting when I reached Erika's car waiting outside. She's fetching me.

I put my sandwich on my mouth as I opened the door and got inside.

"Good morning." I greeted.

I did not clearly uttered it since the sandwich was in my mouth. I also wasn't looking at her since I'm buckling myself up while I'm on it.

I looked up at her when I didn't get a reply from her. She just stared at me looking pissed off.

I lifted up my brow in question while finally pushing down my seatbelt to lock. Still she did not reply.

I put away the sandwich from my mouth.

"What?" I asked curiously.

Her brows met then hugged the steering wheel in frustration and that made me wonder.

'Did I do something wrong… again?'

She turned her head on my way and suddenly leaned closer to me, and kissed me in the cheek.

I got frozen there with eyes wide.

"Morning kiss." She said and stepped on the gas then drove off.

I put my face behind my palm in frustration. Though I am blushing, I'm still disappointed in myself.

There it goes again. I did it again.

Why does I'm an idiot in dating?

I should have kissed her as soon as I got in.

'Darnit.'

While on our way, Erika kept on glancing at me.

"You didn't forget what's today right?" She asked while grumpily looking at me.

My brows arched and I know I was giving her an unsure look. Well, I'm not really getting what she mean anyway.

Then my overthinking self took over me.

What's today?

It wouldn't be monthsary right?

Much more anniversary since we were only just over 'a day' in our relationship.

So what's today?

What's today?

Ugh…

Wait, don't tell me there's something to celebrate a day after being official?

Gosh, I'm going crazy.

I made a very wry smile and a really guilty look at her since I don't know what she mean by 'what's to day'.

Then I noticed her hands gripping the steering wheel harder than she already have. She also gritted her teeth and rolled her eyes in mine; she sighed.

"It's examination day Love." She uttered.

"Finals."

Again, all the blood ran up to my head in embarrassment.

Right, in embarrassment not… not my blood got drained because it's finals and I didn't study.

I was so embarrassed with all the overthinking I did.

Silly me.

Seriously though, so it's finals.

I was absent for three days as I went to vacation. I also didn't study the days prior to that. Furthermore, this weekend, all I did was flirt with Erika.

I pulled my hair in helplessness then wryly smiled again to my girlfriend.

"Do you have notes Love?" I shyly asked.

"Or printed materials I can study."

She sneered at me then motioned me to get them in her bag in the backseat.

And that's it, I studied from that span of time; from the car until we reached school, walked in the hallway, then up in our classroom.

It's been a month already since I started uploading chapters.

Well, the idea of me writing this just popped up out of nowhere. I just really got bored staying inside due to QUARANTINE.

At that time, I think I did everything to amuse myself like, playing mobile legends, reading books on the shelf, cooking with youtube (experiments, canned goods though) and more until I decided to write this.

And now, I have this close cousin of mine who cannot believe that I did this. And she's laughing every time she read your every comments in here.

I find her sometimes annoying as she read outloud all your comments and everybody in the house would tease me but to sum it all; I'm really happy.

So I encourage everyone to leave a comment especially to the 'silent sect'. Haha Thanks guys…
