Chapter 73

After our classes ended on that day, Erika and I made our way to her car. As we walk, it felt like I was walking down to my grave.

She locked the door as soon as we got inside her car. We just stayed there for a while; not talking.

In my part, I was just feeling her, waiting to be killed. Hahaha

"Must you really hold her?"

'Here it goes'

I didn't say anything in my defense. I know anything I would say would just turn out as an excuse.

"Why did she looked for you?" She asked sounding so cold.

Hence, I sincerely explained what I had gotten into. I also made sure to put all the blame to Rey. Hahaha

'Poor Rey'

"You haven't even made a painting of your girlfriend but you're already making one for another girl huh?"

Wow, she sounded really sarcastic and I find it cute at the same time. I just wryly smiled though. What else can I say?

"Somehow... it wouldn't be nude, right?"

My jaw dropped at the question.

"No." I Immediately answered.

"It would just be a portrait sketched in pencil and charcoal Love." I added.

She shot me a glare. "Just so we're clear."

Then she rolled her eyes at me, stepped on the gas and drove off.

After we had eaten our dinner, I suggested we walk the park near my place since she's taking me home anyway.

"How about we take the long way round?" I suggested.

She smiled then nodded.

This time, she held my hand. It seemed to perfectly fit like a puzzle as she interlocked it with mine.

I felt like my cheeks getting warm by then as my heart pounded.

It was beautiful and satisfying sending a rush of different emotions.

Well, you can't blame me for that, I seldom held her hand in public as we we're keeping our relationship a secret.

Hence, I grasped it so tight like it would be impossible to let go.

We talk as we walk until it went down to our families. I only gave her the surface about mine. She did not ask deeper anyway and likewise with her, I did not stoop my nose deeper too.

"So when will you introduce me to your family?" I asked.

I already told her that my family knew about us, much more to me being into women.

She squeezed my hand. "Give me time Love."

"I'm still in the closet, give me time to muster enough courage."

"Please…" She pleaded. I could sense sorrow, grief and fear in her voice.

I bitterly smiled and nodded, squeezing her hand back. I would be lying if I say I'm fine with that but guess I could only wait.

"I'll wait." I assured her.

But deep within me, just how much I want to tell everyone she's taken and held her hand until the end but guess, I could only wait.

Yeah, I will wait.
