Zhu Cultivation Town!
Both the righteous and the demonic disciples were engaged in fierce combat in the She Clan’s compound. The light reflected from their swords and sabers lit up the Zhu Cultivation Town. Their sword and saber Qis was unstoppably being swept all over; the She Clan’s buildings crumbled amidst their ongoing fight.
Far in the distance—all the Zhu Cultivation Town’s cultivators swallowed their saliva out of instinct.
“Clan Lord Wang is really awesome! How long has it been since he entered the immortal sects? Look at him now, already this influential. Even Golden Core Stage cultivators listen to his orders? He’s really something!”
“Yeah, I really envy Clan Lord Wang. He broke free from the despair suffered in our cultivation towns and entered the Golden Core arena!”
“Hmm? Something’s not right. Isn’t that Golden Core Stage cultivator Zhang Shenxu?”
“Yeah, I think he’s Zhang Shenxu! Didn’t Wang Ke say that he was a fake? Why would he have a Golden Core Stage cultivation?”
Some eventually recognized Zhang Shenxu and began to doubt Wang Ke’s words.
However, the “touters” Wang Ke had implanted in the crowd had silver tongues after following Wang Ke for many years; swaying such sentiments was a piece of cake for them!
“No, that’s the real Zhang Shenxu! Of course, She Tianba found someone that looked like him to fool us! She Tianba is a big fat liar! He found someone with such an uncanny resemblance? He really is too much!”
“She Tianba intentionally found actors based on the Golden Crow Sect disciple’s looks? How dare he!”
………………
…………
……
After Wang Ke’s rabble rousers spun opinions around, all the doubts from the locals were ironed out.
So that’s why! No wonder that person looked so familiar!
“The imposter that She Tianba found really looked like Zhang Shenxu. But if we look carefully, there are still some differences!”

“Yeah! Come to think of it, their chins are a little different!”
“His eyes are bigger!”
……………………
…………
……
Wang Ke’s rousers no longer needed to sway the conversations; everyone was trying to find the differences now. They quickly “found” many discrepancies between the real and the fake Zhang Shenxu. More importantly, when Zhang Shenxu had first appeared, none of them had dared to take a close look at him, giving birth to all those observations about their “discrepancies.”
And thus, Wang Ke was no longer a suspect. Instead, everyone looked at the big liar, She Tianba, with contempt.
She Tianba, Wang Ke, Princess Youyue, and Zhu Yan stood amid the battlefield.
Wang Ke was still holding out, fending against She Tianba with his flying sword.
Only She Tianba knew that Zhang Shenxu and his junior disciples were not there to help Wang Ke but to kill him! And the demons had shown up to go after Wang Ke. Logically speaking, Wang Ke should already be dead. But why? Why did things turn out like this?
“Stop fighting, all of you! The person you want to kill is here! He’s here! Don’t let him take advantage of you, guys!” She Tianba roared despite his injuries.
But, the righteous and the demonic warriors were already on irreconcilable terms. Since they were already engrossed in the fight, no one would stand down just because She Tianba had told them. You must be joking! Who do you think you are, She Tianba? We don’t even know you!
She Tianba continued roaring for a while, but his efforts were futile; frustration was written all over his face.
At the moment, two people were holding out their flying swords against each other, both refusing to budge. She Tianba’s flying sword was about to break; it was so close to him that he dared not detonate it. But once he withdrew the sword, Wang Ke’s flying sword would cut him down.

“Wang Ke, why don’t we put our fight aside and leave this place first?” She Tianba looked toward Wang Ke in anticipation.
Wang Ke wanted to agree, but Zhu Yan refused!
“Don’t stop! You must be She Tianba, right? Keep Wang Ke busy. Let me kill him!” Zhu Yan called out to She Tianba.
“You?” She Tianba was surprised by Zhu Yan.
“Dream on! Not while I’m around!” Princess Youyue stood between Wang Ke and Zhu Yan.
“Zhu Yan, ” Wang Ke smirked, “Your skin must be itchy again, right?”
“Aren’t you aware that I’m going to kill you?” Zhu Yan walked over with his whip.
“Princess Youyue, you can step aside. Don’t worry; he’s merely a mortal at the Preliminary Stage. He hasn’t even stepped foot into the Innate Stage! There’s no way he can harm me; he can’t even break my protective-Qi. Just ignore him!” Wang Ke explained.
“Oh?” Princess Youyue was taken by surprise.
Zhu Yan’s face was instantly beet red. Back then, I didn’t dare to use my essence Qi at the palace because She Miejue was right outside. I’m already at the Innate Stage’s pinnacle level… I’m going to crush you like an ant!Do you really think I’m weak?
“Wang Ke, do you really think you got away with things because I’m weaker than you?” Zhu Yan smirked, pointing his whip at Wang Ke.
Wang Ke then grasped Zhu Yan’s whip with the hand that wasn't controlling his flying sword. He pulled hard, snatching the whip and firmly holding it to attack.
“Uhh?” Zhu Yan was stunned; he looked at his empty hands.
Where’s my whip? I was caught off guard.
“You see? He’s too weak, and yet he dreams of beating me up. He’s quite the dreamer! Princess, don’t worry. Your cultivation is sealed at the moment; don’t get yourself hurt by the effects of my battle with She Tianba. Just sit by a corner and wait for a while!” Wang Ke comforted the princess.
“Okay! I was worried that Zhu Yan would be really powerful. Good to know he’s just for show!” Princess Youyue walked to a relatively safe corner with a look of contempt.
Zhu Yan: “...........................!”
“Zhu Yan? Why are you trying to involve me when you are this weak? What a waste of my time!” She Tianba also glared at Zhu Yan disdainfully.
“Wang Ke, how about my suggestion? Let’s stop fighting so we can leave now!” She Tianba looked toward Wang Ke again.
But—before Wang Ke could speak—Zhu Yan could not hold it back any longer. He roared, “Don’t try reconciling with him, She Tianba. I was just careless; I didn’t grip my whip tightly just now. That was why he snatched it from me. Killing Wang Ke is a piece of cake for me!”
She Tianba was a little stunned; he looked back at Zhu Yan with a doubtful look.
“Zhu Yan, get lost! You really think I don’t dare to whip you?” Wang Ke harrumphed in disdain.
“Piak!”
He swung his whip at Zhu Yan forcefully.
I’ve been whipped again?
Zhu Yan was greatly humiliated once again; this time witnessed by many scornful looks.
“Roooarr~~~~~~~~~~!”
Zhu Yan roared, and a powerful aura burst out from his body. The shockwave caused the surrounding ground and rocks to vibrate. And then, Zhu Yan was enveloped by billowing demonic Qi.
“Such a powerful aura! Could Zhu Yan be telling the truth?” She Tianba was convinced by what he saw.

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.
