Sky Steps!

Taking third big jump from the sky steps, I reached the crown of the tree and from there, I started taking a jump on the other tree but suddenly a blur caught my eye and gave me a big fright.

The Blade Snake is coming is climbing the tree at lightning speed, its speed is so fast that my eyes were only able to the blue blur.

The heard noise, only to see the tree which I had just taken the jump from has fallen, I couldn't see clearly what happened but I know it is the work of the Blade Snake.

I was right, just as I took a jump on another tree, I found it is falling on the ground.

I had to take a quick jump on another tree which I barely able to balance myself before taking next jump again.

This fucking Reaper! I cursed as I sacred shitless seeing that, the blade is cutting the trees which I am jumping on to make me fall.

I got a clear look as it swung its tail at the tree trunk and the tree trunk clearly cut into, it feels like it's not cutting trees but leaves as Its taking barely any time to cut the tree.

I am really feeling scared right now, if it caught up to me, then I wouldn't have a chance to scream before it cut my head in half and eat my brains.

I was thinking that why no other monster come to attack me since I had been so openly running on the trees but answer soon provided in the question I thought.

The reason why there aren't monster attacking me also The Blade Snake, not only human feared this reaper but monsters also do, this is most likely the reason why no monsters attacked me yet.

Not only I had received an attack from the Surface monster but flying monster also didn't dare to attack me, as soon as they saw me coming, they would fly away from the trees they are on.

I drank another potion, ever since I had started running, I am drinking potions like water as I am currently activated two knight grade skills and also igniting jets to make leaps.

I am using whatever I have for the slightest boost in speed not caring anything about the potions bottles that I am drinking like water.

That decision was really right! I thought, when I was making preparation for the realm, I brought normal potions in bulk which cost me millions of credits.

Mainly they were mana potion and healing potion, after buying I thought I brought too much as they cost me a lot of money and space in my storage but I still kept pack them in my storage thinking, this time there is no jill who is going to give extra bottles of potions when I needed it.

I was running normally and thought the blade snake would also keep cutting the trees to make me fall but suddenly it had done something different, instead of cutting the three, it climbed on it and its speed so fast that, I could only see the blue blur with two small red dots which is its eyes.

It is climbing the tree which is I am going to land, so, even if I achieved the sky step now, it will able to launch an attack as long it jumped from the tree which is definitely going to do that.

Its attack definitely going land on me and there is no way I could avoid it, the best way to defend against it and quickly take a high jump using the sky steps but before that I will have to survive its attack if not then instead of taking high jump with sky steps, I would be lying on the ground dead with my brain eaten.

Calming my mind, I quickly went into action.

The tail of The Blade snake is extremely Vicious, the blade on its tail could pierce through anything, its good thing I am ready for its attack, I am ready since I started running.

The dense fire quickly covered the helmet I am wearing, above dense fire layer, white energy covered my whole body, it very dense on my head especially, not only that I also put my already activated shield behind my head.

The dance fire layer is my fire ability while white layer which covering my body is my defense skill above it is the protection of my shield, not to forget my head is covered in knight grade mask and strengthening skill which I kept activated from earlier.

Despite these defenses, I am not sure, I could come off unscathed from its attack if defending against it were that easy then most people who come across it wouldn't have died.
