《Monster Integration 》Chapter 630. Milfred I

"So, where are we stying?" asked Rachel after we got our fill from the diversity around us. "Let's sit and look," I said as I motioned toward the empty seats in the lounge.
In the home, I wanted to research the place I will be staying in the Midzone but I could not as, no information about it could be accessed from my authority, so all I could is wait in desspointement.
As we sat on the chair, the adventures paradise site and tapped on the lodging section in it. In the lodging section, I type the requirement of the lodging we wanted.
We had already decided to live together, though we will stay in a separate room but still live together. So, we need a place big enough that has separate rooms for us, and the most important aspect we need is a practice hall.
We need a practice hall; it had to be big enough for us to have a normal fight without much restricted by space, though I know such space will be very expensive, I did not care about as the mana crystals are the only thing that I don't lack.
"My God, are these prices," Rachel said in astonishment, not only her, but I also got shocked seeing the prices; they are beyond my imagination. It felt like the outpost I had been a backward village, which lacked even basic facilities while this place is the world's biggest and most developed metropolitan.
If my parents were to see these prices, they would directly fall unconcious. This how obnoxious prices here are. If not me having loads of mana crystal that could feel the storage artifact, I would say something in shock as Rachel did.
In the outpost, I used to live in the apartment, which cost less than one Mana Crystals, but here, even the smallest apartment cost one thousand Mana crystals, and the places of requirement started from the twenty-five thousand mana crystals.

The prices are so high likely due to the strength people here posses. The lowest level of strength here is Three Star Elite, even the noncombat personnel here have the strength of one-star elite or above.
And for the one who posses strength of three-star elite, one thousand mana crystal just changes as one would gain for killing a single Grimm race monster of similar strength. So the sky-high prices here are not that surprising.
After the initial shock, we calmed ourselves down and started to browse the properties in earnest, though the prices here are high; they are not that high for us who have mana crystals in millions.
So, we calmly browed the the the properties, checking what they offer and what we need.
"Are we sure about this one?" I asked Rachel, motioning toward the lifelike projection of the place we have chosen, "Yes." Rachel said, and the next moment, I clicked on the rent, and we both started signing a bunch of documents.
This place we are renting cost a whopping sixty thousand mana crystal, though it is expensive it is worth it. It not only had a big living space but also had the three practice halls. Of the three, two are small while one big enough that could fight without much feeling restriction of space.
I wanted to pay the rent alone, but Rachel insisted on sharing, and seeing her insistence, I had to let her pay half of the rent.
"Meet you at home!" I said, "Yes, let's see who gets there first." Rachel said as she took the air. Both of us are flying toward the directions of our guild's as we have to register in it before the evening and also a complete bunch of formalities.
I take a look at the Rachel one last time before; I speedily flew toward the Raging Thunder Guild of the Milfred.

It took few minutes for me to reach Raging Thunder Guild, and I have to say its huge, way bigger than the one in the fort Cavendish and the aura released by the bolt sign is way more domineering.
When I got close to it, I felt all the hair on my body stood up, and I felt a very dangerous feeling from it; it is even greater than what I had got from the twin's parents.
'This bolt weapon!' I thought the one in the guild of Fort Cavendish only has a suppressive feeling, but it had posed only slight harm, but the thing in front of me is the real deal.
It had immense power, and it even has the power to fatally injure or kill the powerhouse at the level of twins parents.
I looked observed the bolt for a while before I walk inside the guild through its huge door.
"Excuse me where is the registration," I asked while showing the raging thunder badge, I got in the fort cavendish. "Fourth floor is for registration," she replied. I thanked before I walked to the elevator for the fourth floor.
Just as she said after I reach the fourth floor, I found it is for people like me who had newly come to the Midzone from the outpost.
The registration went smoothly, I filled all the paperwork, and now I just have to register my strength officially and get a new badge, and after that, I am free.
Proving strength is extremely simple, I just have to fight some opponents from the Imaginary Crystal, its just like guild challenge, the only difference is that the opponent I would face going to a higher level.
I could do this within the three days, but I decided to get over it so that I can complete all the stages of registration, bureaucracy is a bitch, and I don't want to get stuck inside it more that I need to.
So I quickly got into the elevator to go the 9th floor as that is where the Imaginary Crystals are placed, and yes, the guild in the Midzone has more than 20 imaginary crystals, so unless a lot of people are using them, their wonts be any line.
I chose the mostly empty room and went to the Crytal room directly and sat down and concentrated on the crystal, and a few seconds later, my consciousness entered the Imaginary crystal.
In the crystal, I finish change after challenge; I cut down each Challenger in the single move except for last, it took me a minuit to finish it off as it had the strength of the peak Nine Star Elite.
I finished the guild challenge within a minute and about to go down but decided to go up, on the 10th floor, there are again imaginary crystal but unlike those imaginary crystals on the 9th flood were I had to fight the twelve challenger, here I will have to fight only one and if I won that fight and then I will be eligible to go to Warzone.
The strength of the Challenger here One Silver Star Elite, as long as one has the strength of One Star Elite, they can apply for go to the Warzone.
So this time also, I chose the empty hall and directly went inside the crystal room and, like last time, finished withing a minuit. Still, this time there was no happiness on my face, as the Challenger I faced were finished me off in a single move, it attack was so fast that I got killed before I even know it.

Authority [Dropped]
Notice: Updates are set to every other day. Or to be precise every 2-3 days. Thank you! "The theory of evolution was introduced by Charles Darwin and it baffled the world. Going by the same principle as Darwin's theory all living organisms by nature are capable of evolution to an extent. Evolution in games are always just limited however this is not a game but rather reality. However the only thing that stagnates the whole premise of evolution is the environment. Environment is always the number one factor of evolution. Going by that logic. Stimulation for survival is needed to evolve and better suit the environment. " - Titus

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

Their romantic relationship will blossom further later in the series, most likely the third book rather than first. I still suggest reading the first and second though for lore purposes and character and relationship progression.Enjoy 🌻Sinclair
