《Monster Integration 》Chapter 886. Conversation

Ever Since I had come to Warzone; I did not call any of my friends or received their calls, not Ellens, nor Jills nor anyone.
I am ashamed as once I received the call, they will see the Criminal tag on my holowatch, which is why even to call my parents I used Toms holowatch. Even though this Criminal Tag on me is my mistake and I am entirely innocent, I still felt ashamed.
And this feeling makes me angry, angry at myself, angry at people who have done this to me, but there is nothing I could do about it with my current Strength.
I looked at my holowatch thinking let it ring as I always do or receive it; finally, I made my mind and touched received as there is no use in running away from my current status, whether I like it or not.
"Why weren't you receiving my calls, do you think I have so much free time to call you a hundred times in a month." Ellen blasted, she looked really angry, so angry that I thought she would spit fire at any moment.
I stayed quiet and did not say anything; let HER see the faint red color and tag of Criminal when she sees my projection on her holowatch.
At first, she did not notice and opened her mouth to say something when she finally noticed a strangeness in my projection, and her eyes became big as saucers.
She was so shocked seeing the tag that she wasn't able to say anything for a while; this page, not a normal tag. It was given to those who face serious charges like attempted r.a.p.e or attempted murder, so it normal for her to get shocked after seeing that.
"Micheal, did you do something that serious?" she hesitantly asked, I could see she did not want to believe I had committed such a heinous crime but seeing the proof of that in my projection, she doesn't know what to think.

"Do you think I would commit a crime heinous enough to receive such a tag?" I asked back with a sad laugh as I opened the door of the room that is allotted to my team and sat on the usual seat.
"Were you framed?" she asked after some time, to that I nodded. Seeing me an affirming look of anger appeared on her face, "who are they?" she asked angrily, to that sad laugh of my face couldn't help but widened.
"They are very powerful people," I said as I smiled helplessly at her, hearing my vague answer she arched her, clearly asking me to give her a clear answer, seeing that I couldn't help but sigh.
This is the reason why I don't want to receive her call, as I know she delves too deep when she knows I am in trouble. "They are from the Supreme Level Organisation," I stated simply.
This had even shocked her; people don't come in contact with the Supreme Level Organisation; those people are too aloof, distant, so someone as average as me incurring their wrath is quite a surprising thing.
"You don't have to worry, Micheal, my teacher is also from the Supreme Level Organisation. If I ask her, she will help in removing these false allegations against you." Ellen said.
Hearing that, I felt like I saw the light in the darkest cave, a hope that I had been searching for a long time.
I quickly wanted to say 'Yes' but found that my mouth wouldn't open to say the word 'Yes,' seeing that a sad smile couldn't help but appear in my face again.
"You don't need to ask your teacher, I will find a way to solve my problem on my own," I said with a laugh. Though I am very grateful for her offer and rejecting her offer would be the most idiotic thing Ive done till now, but I don't it even a bit.

I have my Pride, and it wouldn't let someone solve my own problem, even though this task of removing the criminal tag seemed near impossible as in front of me is Behemoth which breath is enough to kill, I will still try and remove this tag with my own efforts.
Ellen seemed to want to say something, and for that, she even opened her mouth, but she closed it when she saw the resolute expression on my face. She knew that I would not accept her help, no matter how much she forces me.
"So why have you called?" I asked after a minute of silence, "Why, couldn't I even call my friend." she asked back angrily, which brought the genuine smile on my face, and the sad atmosphere that seemed to present earlier had vanished in the puff.
"I had called you to give you the Limit Breaking Method but seeing you have rejected my help, I don't think you will accept the Limit Breaking Method that came from my teacher," Ellen said, this time it was her turn to make a sad laugh.
She is clearly aware of her teacher's view about her friend, and she knew it was not her teacher's fault to have such views, she had come from very high space, so unless one did not have any extra special qualities, they would not enter teachers eyes.
"With your teacher's guidance, you must have become quite powerful, tell me what level are you at?" I asked, changing the subject. Hearing my question, her expression has become a little reserved, as if she is arguing herself whether to tell me or not.
Finally, she seemed to have made her mind and opened her mouth to speak, and what came out had shocked the hell out of me, "I am at the peak Diamond Elite, just as a step away from becoming an Adamantine." she said.
Her words were like thunder to my ears, I had very much expected her power to be above me and wouldn't have been surprised if she told me she is a Peak Platinum Elite, but Peak Diamond which is just a step away from Adamantine is little too much for me to take.
A normal Diamond would have also been fine but peak Diamond, 'Look like she had called me with the intention of crushing my spirit.' It took me a while to come out of my shock, but I did, and now I am even more determined to work even harder.
"Looks like I've slacking off too much; your progress has given me a target. You should watch out for me; it wouldn't be long before I will catch up to you." I said with a laugh.
After that, we talked for a while. I even talked a few words with her fiance, who was beside her; it was fun to talk to the friends again.
The criminal tag had made me quite ashamed to talk to my friends but talked with Ellen, which made me realize that I should not feel ashamed about the thing which I haven't done.
Though I have a criminal tag, and it created a lot of problems for me and stopped me from getting the resources I deserve, it has also made me determined to work even harder.

This is my first attempt at writing a story. I am a complete beginner at this. The closest thing to an organized story I’ve ever written is essay reports back in high school. There might be syntax errors and weird language all over the place. So, apologies in advance. I’ll be trying my best to make this story as interesting as possible, and with your feedback I am sure I can make something nice out of it. Constructive criticism is appreciated. And you are welcome to comment any errors you might notice. I’ll try to fix them up as soon as I can. For now, I don’t have a schedule. But if the story gets traction, I will try to work something out. **Cover Image Drawn by me.
