《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1846: Graveyard of Bones

Thud!
I crashed on the ground; it was not smooth ground but something made of hard and spiky things which had turned to ashes just as my body crashed into them.
"Fuck!" I cursed loudly as I opened my eyes while coughing as a lot of dust had entered my mouth when I had opened it to breathe, but the next moment, I saw something which instantly stopped my coughs and made my eyes shot up in horror.
"What the hell is this place?" I asked myself in shock when I saw myself in a field of bones. There are bones everywhere, as far as I could see.
Some of the bones are tall as a mountain; they seemed to be from a huge monster; seeing such huge monsters bones, my eyes couldn't help but light up in wonder.
My heart couldn't help but shudder to see this mausoleum of bones and seeing their shapes; all these are seemed to be from the monsters. There must be tens of thousands of monsters' bones here, and the thing is, these monsters are not normal.
Though, all the energies have been drained away from this bone using some method, I could still see some signs of their former strength on these bones that couldn't help but made me shudder.
Each and every bone here is from the monster which holds the power to slaughter our whole world. These belong to the monsters that are above the Tyrant stage, but through some method, they have been drained of their whole lifeforce and other elements.
There are hundreds of monsters skeletons that are here are in complete shapes. It is clear they have been brought here alive for some purpose before being drained alive.
I looked around, and seeing there is no immediate danger, I closed my eyes and focused on healing my serious injuries. The Astral energies have brought seriously injured me; I like to heal that damage before I took a step to explore this place.

Runes lit up across my body, and they moved before covering the injuries before started to infuse healing energy into them in a systemic way.
The astral energy has frozen my cells; pouring healing energy over them would not heal them. If I want to save those parts of my body injured by then, I would have to do it with precious and technique, and that thankfully I have them.
The runes covered the injuries before applying healing energy to them, slowly revitalizing the parts which had been frozen by the astral energy. The process is not slow, but it is also not fast; it needs deep concentration and precise control.
THUD!
Time passed, and my injuries kept getting healed, and soon, I had reached the last phase when suddenly my concentration is broken by my huge sound and powerful presence, which made me open my eyes immediately.
"Thank god, I have that protective treasure; otherwise, I would have been frozen by that terrifying astral energy." Said a croaky voice of the Grimm Monster before it got to shut up and looked at me in alarm, but a moment later, a smile appeared on its face feeling my weak aura.
"Hehe, I had not expected to come across humans right after getting out dangerous space," The Frogman said and jumped at me without wasting any second.
It had two long forked weapons in its hands which are wickedly sharp. I don't think it needs any weapons with that huge tongue that could capture any human.
"Die, human!" It shouted midair and begin to open its mouth wide to let its huge tongue out when it finds it could not open its mouth wide at all.
To its horror, it found out its huge mouth closing on its own like there is an outside force that is closing its mouth shut.

Not only its mouth that is closing but also its hands and legs binding to each other. With its position changed, it immediately started falling to the ground.
Thud!
The Grimm Monter fell on the ground, and vines binding it to have become visible. This Frogman is quite weak; I would have been able to defeat it on my first day in Scorsese valley, much less now, when I had merged with over a million cells of the honeycomb.
I only needed a second to bind this bastard with string, and the rest is history. Killing tyrants like it have become easy as slaughtering the chicken for me; I had never imagined I would have such strength when I am in the Emperor stage.
"You might be the reason I am alive, but I can not spare you; you have killed too much of my brethren for that," I said and pierce my vines into its body.
This Frogman was likely a thing that had crashed into me in that strange place. So, it could be said to be the reason for me being alive. If it had been my human enemy, I would have spared their lives, but I could not spare this one.
Not only would I not spare this one's life, but I will harvest an essence rose from it. Each Grimm Tyrant had killed thousands of humans to reach where they are; their sins against my race are too big for me to ignore, even if it had accidentally saved my life.
As my vines finished spreading inside it, I begin the harvesting process, and a few minutes later, the whole Frogman had turned into the husk, revealing the essence rose.
I picked the essence rose off my vines, and the next second, its energies covered me and begin to seep inside me as Nero started to consume the essence rose.
This is Nero's thirty-seventh essence rose, and patterns have already covered more than half of its egg. It won't be long before the whole egg got covered in those beautiful patterns.
Still, it kind of shocked the number of essences rose Nero had consumed. He had consumed the lifeforce of more than forty tyrants already if I count all the essence roses I had fed him, but it is still not enough to bring him out of its egg.
I wonder how many essence roses and other things I will have to feed him before he is able to crack open that egg.

NEWDIE STEADSLAW Part I
NEWDIE STEADSLAW is a randomized array of Chekhov's red herrings, non sequitors ex machina, run-on sentences, and em dashes—so many em dashes. It's like if the Bible and Shakespeare had a baby that they surrendered to foster care, then it got adopted by Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss—the books, not the people—and then the baby fell down the stairs. In this metaphor, the stairs wrote the story. Part I is the tale of the adventures of Traycup and Roby as they try to hold down a job inside the hollow Earth—a place made possible thanks to the secret science of embargoed relativity—and they get distracted by dancing foxes, a giant's record collection, and something with a train, I think. It's a work of fiction—although to call it work seems insulting to, y'know, actual work—but the fiction label is apt, so, y'know, that's a win. Half the words are made up, and the other half are embarrassed to be seen with them. Part I is complete.
