With its scimitar frozen in its place, my sword moved uninterrupted and passed through its chest like a hot knife passed through the butter.

As I had done that, I have wasted no time and started created multiple sealing formations and sent them inside the body of the Azure Horseman to seal its body completely from both inside and outside.

Seeing that, I had finally heaved a sigh of relief. This Azure Horseman is quite special; it had a protection amulet that is still working even after reaching the Elite stage.

Usually, when one reaches the Tyrant stage, most of the protection amulets start working. The Tyrant stage is the limit of our world, and one approached the limit; you came under the consciousness of the world and whatever you hold and also come under its eyes.

While it does not much affect the artifacts unless they are too powerful, it affects the protection amulets as they are made from the energy of someone who is above the limit of the world. This is why over 95% of protection amulets became useless when one turn Tyrant.

The more powerful one gets in the Tyrant stage, the greater the suppression the artifacts they have bonded with would face; 99% protection amulets became useless to them. There are very few protection amulets that could work under the suppression of the world; they are very powerful and very hard to find.

The Azure Horseman had something like it, and it is a good thing; I had stopped my sword from piercing through its heart when I noticed it.

If this Azure Horseman had been a regular Tyrant, I would not even be able to pierce my sword inside its chest, the amulet would have been activated, seeing the speed and power of my sword. It would have been repelled the moment it touched its chest.

Now that Azure Horseman is Elite, the protection amulet would only trigger when an extremely fatal attack had struck, like my sword touching its heart.

If there had been others in my place, they would have left after serious injuring Grimm Monster, as once it activated, the Azure Horseman would be able to escape, but I have no wish to do that. I am going to kill it; as for the protection amulet it had, I will just have to fool it a little.

I opened the door of spatial herb hall again and went inside with Azure Horseman. I came back here because what I am about to do is going to take lots of time, and I want to do it in undisturbed relative safety, and this place is best for it.

With that done, I started to create runes and sent it toward the protection formation which is around its heart and all the fatal parts of its body.

I would not have done something as time-consuming as it, even for the essence rose of Elite I will get from it. The reason I am doing this is for a challenge, I want to challenge my runic knowledge and see if I could create something that would fool amazing but heavily suppressed protection amulet.

It is not easy and I not looking for a challenge that will force me to use every once of runic knowledge I have. Others might consider it a huge mistake to do it here, when I could be killing Grimm Monsters and scouring through various herb halls.

I do not think that way, I am doing this because I have a great target in my mind. The library, I want that library, it contain so much knowledge that it will be enough for my lifetime. It will not only help me beyond measure but also help my world.

For it, if I have to waste few hours of this precious oppurtunuty, I will do it. The benefits of the library is far surpassed the benefits this Astral Tower Garden could provide me.

So, I went for it and I did not hold back, I not only started to use my rule bending power, I also begin to use my Inheritance energy and Bloodline energy to shape the rune, according to the needs.

I am designing a grand formation that will make the protection amulet believe that Azure Horseman is fully alive and there is no immediate harm to its life while I harvest its life essence and turn it into the essence rose.

It would have been much easier if I just wanted to kill it. I would only need to block it for a second and that would more than enough time for me to kill it. I do not want that, I want a great challenge, and also the essence rose. The Essence Rose of the elite Tyrant is quite precious.

An hour passed by, and my multicolor formation had covered the whole heart and other fatal spots, but it is not enough, it is far from enough. What I created is just a shell for the core of the formation, which is going to take a lot of time.

It is a good thing I have deeply researched the isolation formations, and I just have to think about it as I carve it, while making multiple changes in the parts that I do not like.

Time passed by, and before I know it, eight hours had passed, and I am nearly finished with the formation but still, I would need few more hours to make the finishing touches and hashing out the mistakes, I want the formation to be perfect, without the slightest mistake.

Another four hours passed by, and I finally stopped. The formation is ready; it had covered the whole body of Azure Horseman, from inside to outside.

I waited for a few seconds to calm my mind before I activated the formation. As I did, the runes lit up gently before they started to move; all the runes begin to seed inside the body of Azure Horseman and covered fatal spots densely before these runes transformed into translucent chains, which covered the whole protection formation.

Seeing that, I began the harvesting process, watching for any reaction the protection amulet has as my strings begin to suck its life essence, but I did not saw any, and that finally put a smile on my face.
