After scouring and dealing with trouble that came on the 45th floor, I walked into the 46th floor; as I walked in, my eyes couldn't help but pop out in surprise.

I had expected the crowd when I heard the leaders have blocked the entrance of the upper three floors but did not expect the crowd would be this huge. There are around two hundred and fifty people here; around seventy are humans, while the rest are Grimm Monsters.

As I looked at the crowd, I couldn't help but notice the change that had occurred in them. Each and everyone is brimming with power, and there are thirty elites here if going by the aura. Twenty-one on the Grimm Monsters side, ten on ours.

The others also had an obvious change in their strength; more than fifty people had reached near the elite stage, just a step away from becoming an elite.

The plants and training rooms have been too helpful to people. The plants found here are extremely rare, that the process that should take decades, done in the days here. Such chances are very rare; usually, one has to head to the extremely dangerous ruins if one wants to come across something like it.

While the strength of the people had increased, so is their intensity. Sparks are flying everywhere; one just needs a small fuse to make a bang.

As I stepped onto the floor, more than half of the people looked at me. If I had been an unranked Tyrant, I would not have attracted much attention, but I am not an unranked Tyrant but an elite; my entry could affect the result of the battle if it occurred.

I saw Thea, old Ed, and Williams; surprisingly, Thea and Old Ed have become Elite. It is not much of a surprise seeing Williams becoming an elite. She would only need a day in the training room or suitable herb, and she would have crossed the boundary.

The real surprise is old Ed; he was slightly stronger than Thea in power but nowhere close to reaching the elite stage, but he was still able to reach the elite stage; as for Thea, she is just a step away from reaching the elite stage, one good opportunity and she would step into being an elite.

While I had found some familiar faces, I had not seen someone I had expected to see. I had thought I would find Danielle here, but she is not here.

She might still be in the training room; that training room is the best thing for someone like her, and with the notes I had provided, she would be able to get more benefits. There is a chance that she might also be dead, but I did not think so; it is not easy to kill her with her art.

"Jordan, my boy, you are alive; for a while, we thought you are dead seeing you had not turned up," Old Ed said as he appeared beside me with Thea.

"I had appeared on the lowest floor; it took me some time to come this high," I replied. "That low, both Thea and I had appeared on 45th floor, right in herb hall," The old man said happy grin. "No, wonder you have become an elite," I said back.

"You have not done bad yourself," I said back to the old man who now has become an elite, "What can I say? Lady luck shines on me," Old man replied with a shit-eating grin.

It feels good to talk to familiar people again; for days, I had been alone, which gets kind of stifling, especially in the high-stress environment.

"So, how long is this blockade is going to last?" I asked, "Nobody knows; it had been eight days already, and it might take a week more; people are getting impatient," Thea replied. 

"Since there is some time, I am going to check the herb halls," I said, "There is not much use, Jordan; everything had been picked clean. Except for the protected plants, there is nothing there," Thea informed.

"I am going to try my luck on the protected plants; I had been able to open some of them with this toy of mine," I replied as I showed them the calibrator.

"You can try your luck with calibrator but be careful of these Grimm Bastards and some humans," Old Ed warned. "Ok, I will be careful," I said.

With huge numbers of both sides, even idiot Grimm Monsters would think about attacking ten times before they do, as it would not be a simple fight but an all-out fight between the two sides. Still, some idiots exist, and they might do idiotic things, so I have to be careful.

After saying goodbye to them, I entered the herb hall, which is pretty much empty, not only of the valuable herbs but also of people; I had only seen one human and three Grimm Monsters in it.

I glanced at them before I went to find the protected plant and soon, I had found one, it took me more time than I had expected and I also got quite surprised. There are only two protected plants in the whole herb hall, there had been more originally, but people broke them and harvested the plants inside.

They did not use the method I used; they used artifacts and explosives, some of them being so powerful that they had created a creator in the herb hall.

Outside it is nothing special; a simple attack from me could make it happen, but doing it here is extremely hard that even leader class could not do it. So, to make something like that happen, the explosions have to be pretty powerful.

Fortunately, I have a much safer way; though it takes some time, it is very safe, and likely I am the only person who could use that way, which by the way, makes me feel very good. All the time I had spent studying the runes is now being useful for other than helping me design my own inheritance.
