《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1944: [Bonus Chapter]Cotton Glass

I saw a couple of pieces of colorful glass not far away from me; the information provided called it Cotton glass for some reason.
This glass is extremly precious, according to the information; it is an alchemical glass which and contain margart vita in trace amount, which is a similar resource as the divine crystal other than margart vita; there are also many important things that were used in making it.
There is special demand from the Silverstone Academy for this thing, and I am sure I could also use it in upgrading my totem artifact.
These five pieces of glass are twenty meters from my left, with a secure runic formation covering them. There are two ways I could get them, by breaking the formation, and the other is sending my vines through the many small gaps in a protective formation.
Breaking the formation would take too long, and I do not have that much time; I will choose the risky way and use my vines.
Five vines came out of my hands and moved toward the gaps of protective formation, expertly avoiding activating any stray formation on the way. I had covered my vines with bloodline energy to make them more undetectable, so even if the formation is extra sensitive, my vines will be able to slip into it successfully.
Soon, my vines reached the formation and began to slip through the many gaps in the formation has, according to a piece of glass they will bring out.
Shin!
The strings enveloped pieces of glasses and began to move back toward the gaps they went it. One vine after another came out of the crack without triggering the formation. I thought everything would go well when suddenly it turned red and my string that was about to bring the last piece of cotton glass out cut from the gap.

It had happened so fast that I could not even see it; if I had been in the place of the string, I would have died before I even knew it.
This activation of powerful formation is a warning that I could not take things lightly here; the slightest mistake and I would be vaporized before. Just thought of that, and I wanted to get out of here; I took a deep breath to control my emotions and looked at four pieces of colorful glasses that vines have brought.
These glasses are of different sizes, from about my palm size to thumb size, all of them are wonderfully colorful, and when I touched them, they felt quite soft; no wonder they called cotton.
I placed the pieces of cotton glass in my storage after I finished looking at them and moved forwards.
Four hours passed, and I had collected sixteen pieces of treasures, and I used my vines to collect them, never placing myself at risk. The formations here are extremly dangerous, and I will not risk myself; I have seen how these formations cut and vaporize my vines that could even bind Master class Tyrants.
I had already covered half of the hall and still had not seen the divine crystal, and that couldn't make me sad for a moment, but I controlled my emotions and moved forward.
Chew Chew
Suddenly Ashlyn chirped from my shoulder and looked back formation on my right and thing inside it. I had looked at it earlier, and seeing those dangerous energy blades, I shook the thoughts of taking that thing out.
Now, Ashlyn wants to go for that thing, and she seems pretty confident about getting it out. I wanted to reject her request but seeing the look in her tiny eyes and confidence in her voice, I stopped those words from coming out of my mouth.

"Are you sure? Those blades could turn you into the minced meat in a second," I asked, "Chew Chew," she chirped confidently with an affirmative answer.
"Be careful then," I said with a sigh.
Ashlyn flew up from my shoulder, and her size started to became smaller and smaller till she became a thumb-size chubby bird. After she reduced her size, she flew into the formation and divided toward that thing with a speed that was nearly unobservable by me.
The energy blades did not seem to have sensed her as they continued moving as before, but there are hundreds of them, and they all are moving at incredible speed.
Ashlyn has avoided each and every blade; whenever a blade reached her, she would flap her wings and would disappear from her spot and appear on another before disappearing again.
She is dodging the blades at such fast speed that even I am unable to follow her despite activating several ocular abilities. Before I knew it, Ashlyn had reached the silver dusk tile and put it away inside her with the flap of her wings before she began to fly up while dodging energy blades.
A few seconds later, she flew out of the formation and landed on my shoulder; I did not say anything and moved forward.
A few minutes later, I had stopped again when I saw the treasure before shaking my and moving forward; while the treasure is rare, it is completely covered in the formation, and I would need to break it. The treasure is not precious enough that I would waste hours to time breaking it.
The next treasure I had come across, I had picked it; there was barely any protection surrounding it, and even if I had gone closed to it and picked it from my hand, there would have been a faint chance that I would have activated some formation.
Another three hours passed as I cautiously made my way into the hall, picking up the treasures that were safe to pick and discarding those who were dangerous.
I am walking on the fine line, controlling my greed when I see the new treasures. If I let my greed make the decisions, it won't be long before I get vaporized fire or cut into fine pieces by the energy blades.

Magic-Farming
A thought experiment gone out of control, inspired by kosnik4's popular story, Magic-Smithing. What would life be like for someone else who was transported to the world inside Magic-Smithing? Someone who wasn't as prone to encounter incresasingly dangerous people, whose life was a little less chaotic? What if this person was content with a simple life of farming? Tending to the plants, sowing seeds, and reaping a great harvest at the end of the year. Of course, he's also a data scientist, so he can't help but squeeze out the maximum possible efficiency of his time and the potential of his attributes. Who doesn't make excel spreadsheets in their spare time? This is a slightly more "Slice of Life" esque version of kosnik4's story. Hopefully lighthearted, funny, and as enjoyable to read as it is thinking of increasingly ridiculous skill progressions. Thanks to kosnik4 and Magic-Smithing for providing fertile grounds for creativity to thrive. NOTE: THIS IS A FAN FICTION, AND ALL INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS BELONG TO KOSNIK4. I'm a patron of his story, and love reading about what happens next in his story. I've tried my best to be as accurate to his canon science as possible, though it's not 100% feasible. Afterall, the story isn't even done yet! My plan for the releases is to release a single chapter a day until 3/7, and then release 4 chapters a week on M, W, F, & Sat. P.S. If anyone can figure out what the EXACT formula for Level XP is, I'd love to hear it. I'm starting to doubt my math and excel capabilities. I have an equation that is fairly accurate and stays close to his values, but not exactly the same.

Bitter
The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.
