Adam was overjoyed at the almost consecutive announcement about him leveling up..

They had been on this hunting ground for only one day and yet, his level already climbed all the way to level 24!

Soon, Greed finished killing the last gigantic ant nearby then remove his now bloodied sword on the dead monster body.

A message then followed...

[ Gigantic Ant killed ]

[ 1,000 exp gained ]

Gigantic ant was a level 100 monster, hence it gives a whopping 1,000 exp per monster killed.

Additionally, the amount of exp that can be obtained from killing monster, varies on level and also rarity.

As usual, the higher the level, the more exp it will give.

Likewise, the more rarer the monster is, the more exp gained as well.

Gigantic ant was not a rare monster, nonetheless, Adam chose this hunting ground due to numerous amount of Gigantic Ants here!

The more ants he killed, the more exp he will gain!

Allthroughout the day, they encountered about 50 groups of ants already.

Amidst of that, Greed was always the first to step forward and deal damages.

Just a brandished of sword from Greed can cause 2-3 ants a considerable injury.

Bluntly, it only takes Greed about 2-3 attacks to eventually reap 2 ants life or even 3 sometimes.

Theres also the scenario where they met a herd of Gigantic ants which nearly traps their exit.

Hence, Adam just increase his mana output on Greed to a whopping 80,000! which then soon easily annihilated the herd of monster, increasing his level by a lot!

Of course, Adam was not staying idle all those time.

He fought with 2-3 ants which Greed leave for him, mainly to experiment with his newly attained skill!

In the middle of his fighting earlier, he was forced to supply 1,000 mana to his 'coin' and the result baffled him.

' The color of the coin changed! '

Before, it was bronze colored and upon inserting 1,000 mana, it changed to silver-color!

He then got curious and tried inserting more mana, and knows what? When he finally inserted 10,000 mana, the coin changed color again! And turns golden!

Adam then deduce that it was like the requirements of his 'Absolute Skill', where changes may occur at 1,000 then 10,000 then 100,000 and so on..

It was just regrettable as he dont have that luxury of mana yet..

' Soon! ', Adam thought firmly

So far, Adam had learned 3 forms of the coins (in regards with skill#2, Shape-shifter), namely for penetrating power, defensive power and lastly, for restriction!

First, he tried transforming the 'coin' to a spear-like shape, with a pointy edge for a good piercing power. He also tried increasing the supplied mana and discover a splendid result!

' As the mana supplied increases, the piercing power increases as well! '

Next, he tried expanding the size of the coin by inserting more mana, then change its size to circular or oval-like shield, and fortunately, his experiment worked out!

The shield was durable and had a good defensive prowess, especially, the size can be adjusted as he wills!

Of course he dont need a shield at all as he could just settle on his robe's massive defense, but it wont hurt to have a countermeasure right?

Lastly, for restriction. This form was somehow full of flaws as he didnt managed to have a better grasp of this yet, but nevertheless, he thought that it could worked out and keep on trying.

Here, he made his coin change form into something like chain, which takes him a great amount of mana as it must be long enough to entangle the wholeness of the Gigantic ant.

Afterward, he will increase the weight of the chain by inserting more mana, hence, the enemies movement would be restricted especially its speed.

But this skill still needs further improvement and more experimentation as flaws was still all over.

Nonetheless, he was content with the result so far as it was only his first day here on Gigantic Ant hunting ground.

Apart from that, he wasnt able to try testing his other skill ' '???' Division ' yet, as he was still occupied by his other skill, so he might practice it when he had a better grasp on his coin's form.

Soon, Adam and Greed continues their 'simple' hunt on a huge Gigantic ants hunting ground, going deeper and deeper...

At the same time, a large auction was occuring in Manila City, one of the five largest City on Luzon kingdom!

Same as Batangas City, Manila City was as prosperous as ever, with populated streets and stalls.

There are four famous structure on this area where rich and powerful personalities usually goes at, namely the Arena, the renowned lotto shop, the Adventurer guild, and lastly, the auction house!

Auction house only opens once a month, nonetheless, it was famous as almost every item or commodities they were selling was of great quality!

There were even scenarios where an A-grade accessory was sold! This was putting on the fact that accessories could be the most rare type of item that one can obtain!

Weapons and armors were the most common and had an abundance quantity revolving around the market, while accessories had a few number.

Hence, an accessory which is A-grade at top of that, could indeed cause a ruckus among consumers.

Unlike whats' mentioned, accessory was not the highlight of today's auction thats currently occuring at ' Marikina Auction House'.

As per said, the young man's name was William, a member of fourth batch of Chosen who received an A-Grade rating and became a member of Dynamite Guild.

On the last trial, only 3 members of fourth batch managed to obtain an A-Grade rating, and William was one of them!

He then remembers his kills lately where he can even solo hunt a level 20 Venomous Snake within 3 minutes! and thats when he was only level 18!

Soon, he was interrupted on his thought when a voice from the auctioneer resound.

" Good evening, esteemed guest! before we show our tonights' final commodity, allow me to introduce its origin first. ", a beautiful young lady on the staged announced mysteriously

A large cage was then brought on the stage covered by a thick cloth as the young lady began her introduction.

William's gaze was solely focus on the cage as it can be seen twitching every time.

Of course he knew already of whats inside the cage as this was their reason for coming on tonights auction!

Auction was divided into two stage, one on the morning which is the auction known on public and second was at night or known as 'dark auction' where only VIP's knows of its existence, as for the reason, merely because the commodities being sold at night, was an illegal one!

These commodities can range from dangerous or banned medicine until adverse extent such as human slavery that is done illegally like force capturing!

They were commonly the beggars who dont have a background!

Soon, the young lady finished her introduction and soon the covering of the large cage was removed..
