《Love Agreement With The King》Chapter 238 - Glimmer Of Hope

"Are you alright?" John whispered to Roselyn as he leaned closer to her and pinched her cheek gently.
Roselyn forced a smile, "I was concerned we will never be able to have kids." Roselyn sighed as the usual concern disturbed her inner peace once again.
John grabbed Roselyn under her knees with one hand and with the other he wrapped around her back to lift her up making Roselyn giggle as she held on to his neck.
"What are you doing?" She giggled but John didn't reply and went to lay her on the bed. He left her down before he recommended she stay there and not move.
Roselyn nodded quite confused by why he would bring her there but before she would ask him for an explanation he soon disappeared. He closed the door and she could feel some noises for some minutes until the door budged and John appeared with a toothy smile on his lips.
Roselyn was even more confused but he lifted her up once again to walk her toward the bathroom.
He left her down in front of the door. Roselyn could inhale a intense perfume of roses and in few instants, she felt immediately cheered up and curious to find out what there was behind that door.
She could feel the muscles of her face moving on their own to curve her lips as she full of curiosity and excitement opened the door.
The bathroom was immersed in rose petals and the light was tapered, the main light sources came from the candles that were positioned in the middle of the floor to create a path that lead to the bathtub.
The bathroom was also immersed in rose petals. The whole room seemed to come out of one of the most romantic books and Roselyn didn't know what to say. She didn't expect him to do such a nice gesture to her, simple yet filled with love. Her heart was beating so fast and her lips shook from the happiness.

"Thank you..." She murmured as she slowly walked inside following the path.
"Are you happy?" John asked as he followed her.
Roselyn nodded, "yes. I couldn't be happier." She replied as if that was the thing she was more sure about at that moment.
"I am happy to see you happy," John replied as he caressed Roselyn's cheeks gently.
"May I?" He then whispered as she slowly went to remove Roselyn's dress.
When he finished undressing her he helped her to climb into the bathtub. Roselyn leaned her head against the wall as she stretched her legs. The water was at the perfect temperature and she could feel herself floating in a field of roses as the petals released their floral delicate scent.
"Why don't you join?" Roselyn asked as tilted her head to the side and John smiled shyly.
"Stay, I want you to fully enjoy the moment. If I join I may distract you." John said speaking in a mischievous tone of voice.
Roselyn giggled, "how gentle of you not to want to distract me." she rolled her eyes as under the water she clenched her fist and some splashes of water jumped to hit John driven by Roselyn.
Roselyn laughed aloud as John caught off guards jolted, John soon joined her in the laughs.
"I am not sure If I should help you to practice. You could become dangerous." John exclaimed as he grabbed a towel and dried his face.
"You're already in danger since the day I married you." Roselyn shrugged as she launched a second strike. Few bubbles filled with water emerged from the water and began to float in the air surrounding John who as soon as he saw the bubbles narrowed his eyes waiting for them to explode.

The bubbles exploded wetting John's shirt making Roselyn laugh even louder.
"I understood your strategy." John said as he began to unbottom his shirt, "you wanted to see me shirtless but you were too shy to ask me." John shook his head, he removed his shirt and dropped it on the floor. He was sat down but his six-pack was still very visible and although Roselyn had seen him so many times she was still enchanted by such an appealing view.
She cleared her voice as she traveled her gaze back to the water in the bathtub and she played with the water by moving her hand in a slow controlled motion. As she lifted her hand the water was sagging in her hand's direction. It felt so relaxing and amazing to be able to control the water, but at the same time, the price she had to pay for such a huge gift was steep.
"You're so beautiful." John broke the silence making Roselyn smile at his compliment. How was he able to make his compliment sound so real?
"I promise you. We will have to be a family soon." He whispered right after, Roselyn flinched around as soon as she heard him to make sure she heard him right. When he smiled at her and nodded Roselyn held her breath for some instants, her heart skipped a breath to start racing.
"You truly think so?" Roselyn's voice peaked as she froze her hand to fully focus on John's voice.
"It's a promise. You have my word." John lifted his chin as if he was declaring his verdict to the realm and Roselyn smiled widely.
She didn't know why his promise was making her feel so much reassured like if his will would change the situation or manipulate the low probabilities they had. Yet somehow Roselyn felt like deep down his promise confirmed he wanted to have a son and a future with her but mostly then he would do anything in his power to make her happy.
That wasn't only a promise, but it was also a helping hand, an ally for her battle, and a glimmer of hope that the situation may not be as drastic as she thought since she knew John enough to have the certainty he would never promise something he couldn't accomplish.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

The goal of Sam and Xander is to establish themselves in their world before two years since that was when the War Games are taking place. Sam and Xander would be put against other warlords of a different world. As both of the armies clashed, one might lose everything while the other gets stronger. My goal is 6 chapters a week. The story will include kingdom-building, war, and military strategy. The story is a working progress so any feedback is appreciated. Re:Skyrim
In the world of Nirn, on one of the continents, Tamriel, at the northernmost province of the continent, Skyrim, there was peace. With dragons coming back from the dead, vampires going out of their caves, assassins and thieves running wild, how can Skyrim have her peace when even her own children are bickering amongst themselves? But this is not a tale about Skyrim, this is a tale spun for something else. Something, not quite from Nirn, or even from this Kalpa. _____________________________ *All copyrights belong to Bethesda, I just want to add a little character of my own into the mix. *Title, synopsis, chapters, and cover picture are subjected to changes, at anytime *Like with the lore and the Elder Scrolls series, I don't own the picture, if the owner wants it taken down, please message me I take some lore, and then I twist it a bit, or I don't at all.
