《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 1: The Legendary Tale!

The year 2020, Central ward of Tokyo, Japan.
'This year was hard for everyone.'
A guy lying in a closed glass chamber thought.
'But Why is it only ME who has to go through all this shit?'
He kept on thinking while feeling sad. Just then he heard someone issue an instruction outside.
"Go. Fill it with the C-gas."
After which the chamber which had a capsule-like shape, was filled with cold gas.
'Shit.'
He freaked out and tried to break open the glass in front of him. But to his realization, he couldn't move his hands, not even by an inch.
After using all the strength he could muster, he tried but couldn't even move his arms at all.
'Sigh'
In the end, he gave up. He cursed himself and cursed his fate. He cursed the guy who trapped him in this situation.
As time passed, the capsule was filled with that gas. He was hit with a feeling of drowsiness because of which he started to fall into a sleep-like state.
The gas caused a cold to spread in his body. The temperature of his body fell so low and ice started forming over his skin.
If someone saw him, they would think that it was just a very realistic ice sculpture. Soon his eyes closed and he fell into a forced sleep.
This unlucky guy was Zhao Luo.
A Chinese traveler with a normal name and a normal life till this happened to him.
Thus his normal name couldn't even come close to his abrupt fate.
The glass capsule after being filled with the C-gas was like a reciprocal mirror. The reflection of a bunch of guys could be seen on the capsule. They all had the same equipment. Each of them was wearing a lab coat indicating that this place was a laboratory of some sort and they were a group of researchers.

'Tap, Tap, Tap....'
One of the researchers walked towards the capsule Zhao Luo was in. His lab coat was golden and he was wearing sunglasses.
Yes, wearing sunglasses indoors. He was a special weirdo. Nonetheless, every other person present in the lab moved aside to make way for him to reach the capsule.
He was Takuma. The lead researcher of this grand project which he had started. As the project was supposed to free humanity of their limited short lives so the name had to be grand too.
'Gone over death - GOD'. Takuma looked at the capsule and said,
"Hopefully my decision will be able to change your life."
After saying what he wanted while hoping that Zhao Luo could hear him. This was probably his last time saying anything to Zhao Luo. Takuma pushed a button next to the capsule which made a countdown to start.
'3'
The capsule rotated.
'2'
It stopped vertically.
'1'
It started moving down after a path was open below the capsule.
'Whoosh'
The path closed after the capsule passed it.
All the guys in the lab left one by one, the last being Takuma.
*******************
2 weeks back.
A Chinese guy left his hotel room on the 36th floor. He took the elevator to the ground floor. He left the hotel and stood at its entrance/exit.
"NISU"
He said nice, in Japanese which sounded funny.
This guy was Zhao Luo. A Chinese traveler in his early 20's. The guard outside the hotel gate stepped away after seeing Zhao Luo coming out of the hotel. The reason for stepping away was simple. Zhao Luo loved to tell others about himself and once he started there was no stopping him.
Summarizing the legendary tale of his, it usually went like this,
'I always had a weak body because of my lungs. Always suffering from a breathing problem whenever I was excited. So the doctors told me that I won't live long which didn't come as a surprise to me cause I was a really intelligent kid. And intellegent people dont live long. Keh.'

Zhao Luo would always stop at this point after praising himself and waiting for others to give a response then continue to his later half of the tale.
'I knew what I suffered from and how big of a problem it was. Still, I never gave in to my condition and instead decided to live the life of a traveler and here I am talking to you.'
He would end his story by pointing at the guy being abused mentally with this legendary tale of his.
Zhao Luo always did the opposite of what the majority of people were doing.
Covid-19.
A deadly virus.
Because of covid-19 everyone was wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance from others. While Zhao Luo was on full commando mode thinking that Covid-19 was a hoax.
Zhao Luo started walking and after a while, he reached a building. Zhao Luo stopped in front of that building and looked at the banner at the entrance door.
The banner started with 'Haunted Building' in Japanese which Zhao Luo ignored and went to the next part.
'You don't wanna enter? Dame Dame yooo~~'
Zhao Luo had a grin on his face. Even though he didn't know what was inside but just cause he was a fan of Japanese comedy he went inside. Like a child walking in a park. He looked happy while entering the building. But he didn't know that this will be his worst choice.

RELINQUISH
Sometimes I wonder why the world isn't decorated with something as cool as magic... Why can't we manipulate the laws of the world? Why does the story about God sound too fake to be believed? Why the hope for this world to be saved from the bottom of everyone's heart can never be fulfilled... Then I landed on each conclusion from each of those questions... That humans are the most cunning, meanest and stupidest creatures who are most desperately expected to not have any power including magic itself. That it is not God that we should believe in, because they themselves do not believe in how disgusting human nature really is. That everyone's hope is not for the world to be saved, but for the world to be destroyed in order to save their own selves. That the world from the beginning, was not meant to be saved... (I frequently revise and update the use of sentences in the previous chapters without disturbing the original storyline. so sometimes it takes me a little longer to publish a new chapter.) I have the same novel posted on another website (Webnovel.com , creativenovels.com) with the same name (RELINQUISH)
