《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 54: Its Time!

Inside the Teleportation Circle Building aka the TPC building.
There were many people gathered around the circle. They were the examinees who had passed the entrance exam and their families had come too.
Their children would be going to the Sect for a long time now so how could they not see them off.
Zhao Luo entered the building with Yan. The only thing in his mind was that he wanted to see the Sect. He had watched the Sect Mountain many times till now and finally, he was going there.
"There are so many people here."
Zhao Luo said as he could see a crowd gathered inside the building.
"It's because there are others like the friend and families of the examinees here too."
Yan explained as she looked around and noticed some familiar faces.
"Hmmm. I don't see Feng Mei. Brother Sang isn't here either."
Zhao Luo told Yan after he scanned the crowd.
They had planned to meet in the building but both of them weren't even here yet.
Zhao Luo walked towards the crowd and mixed in with them. After passing through so many people gradually he reached the place where the Second Elder was standing.
"Hope you are well Elder."
Zhao Luo paid his respect to the Elder as he bowed in front of him.
As Zhao Luo said that to the Second Elder everyone looked at him for a moment then they turned to what they were discussing.
It was simple, so many people were already gathered here. Every one of them had come to pay his respect to Elder Dousan but except for a nod, nobody could get any other reaction from him.
"Haha, Young man you are finally here. I have two new riddles for you."
Elder Dousan started laughing as he saw Zhao Luo greeting him.
The people around them were shocked.
'Who was Elder Dousan?'
Except for being one of the smartest elders in the Xin Sect, he was also in the top 5 elder ranking in terms of raw strength and cultivation level. But now the same elder was looking genuinely happy and talking with this kid like he was a Junior of Elder. Others were quite shocked by this interaction between The Elder and Zhao Luo.
"Haha, Elder please not today."
Zhao Luo jokingly declined the offer of solving the Second Elders' two brand new riddles.

'His riddles are easier than boiling an egg.'
Zhao Luo thought as he was still maintaining a carefree smile.
If he had easily solved the riddles of the Second Elder in front of so many people then wouldn't the Elder's title 'The Master Of Riddles' turn out to be a scam.
While Zhao Luo had refused the Elder, the Elder didn't mind it even a single bit. But the same thing couldn't be said for the people around them.
Some were all looking at this interaction between Zhao Luo and the second elder with their mouth open. While others felt that this was very interesting.
'Where did this young man come from.'
Some thought as who would dare to refuse the second elder's offer.
Most of these people were flabbergasted by Zhao Luo's attitude towards the elder and how elder dousan treated him.
While this interaction between the elder and Zhao Luo was going on, three people had entered the building. Two were in the front while the third one was behind them.
The one in the front was Feng Mei who was walking in front of her subordinates. The subordinates were like her guards.
As she entered the building Zhao Luo noticed her but before he could move to her, the big teleportation circle next to him glowed.
'Whoosh.'
Brother Sang and Su Shi appeared on it.
Now all of Zhao Luo's companions had appeared in the building. Yan came with him from the hotel. Feng Mei arrived with her subordinates from Feng's Palace.
Whereas Su Shi and Brother Sang appeared in the circle together.
'They are together. Huh.'
Zhao Luo thought as he grinned while looking at Brother Sang.
Brother Sang knew what Zhao Luo was thinking as he nodded at him before moving closer to Zhao Luo.
As for why Su Shi and Brother Sang appeared in the circle is a different story.
Yesterday night.
Brother Sang had returned to the Second City just to find Su Shi at the gate of his 'Sang Sang Merchant'. But there was a reason behind her visit at such a time of night.
There was an item that she had to receive from one of Brother Sang's Merchant stores in the Second City. But she didn't know where the store was thus she decided to visit him directly.
The item was a gift to Su Shi prepared by her father but he didn't give her directly instead choose a roundabout way.

'A tale for later.'
A beautiful small sword with a mysterious name. It had a ruby carved on its hilt. It was a shorter replica of the sword that Su Shi's father uses.
Brother Sang passed the sword to her.
He also gave the message of her father.
"Good luck my daughter."
After listening to the message Su Shi suddenly started crying. She had been showing a strong cover since she was little but now that she was going to the Sect she had finally accepted the truth. But it didn't mean she had given up her responsibilities.
Brother Sang was confused as to how he should comfort her and in the end, he hugged her.
After her crying had stopped Brother Sang have her a room to stay the night so they ended up coming here together.
In TPC Building.
Brother Sang approached Zhao Luo as he could see the grin on Zhao Luo's face. This grin forced him to remember about the hug with Su Shi.
Brother Sang was blushing slightly as he stood next to Zhao Luo now. Su Shi was with them there too. Yan who was standing behind Zhao Luo was looking at Zhao Luo and Brother Sang.
One had a grin on his face while the other was looking at him with innocent eyes.
"Absolutely nothing happened."
Brother Sang suddenly said while looking at Zhao Luo and then changing his sight onto Su Shi. This caused Su Shi to blush too.
She didn't know why she was behaving like this. There wasn't even any reason to feel embarrassed.
'These idiots.'
Su Shi thought.
Feng Mei had also approached the group.
"I greet the Elder."
Feng Mei gave a bowing salute to the Second Elder as the Elder nodded at her with a smile.
She was a refreshment to his old eyes.
'Such a cute child.'
Elder thought as he looked at Brother Sang and Su Shi who still hadn't greeted him.
"Ahem."
The elder scuffed.
"Sorry for my rudeness Elder."
Brother Sang said as he and Su Shi gave a light bow with their shoulder while giving the elder a first palm salute.
As the greeting with the Elder had finished Feng Mei turned to Zhao Luo and the others.
"Brother I missed you."
Feng Mei said as she hugged Zhao Luo while holding to his robe with her little hands.
Her brother was looking even more handsome now with his killing beauty spreading through his persona.
Zhao Luo patted Feng Mei's head as little Feng Mei was looking cuter than ever. But right then a strange sensation started poking and he couldn't get away from this eerie feeling.
It felt like someone was trying to kill him with their gaze. Thus Zhao Luo looked around.
'Who is it?'
Zhao Luo looked at the people around him but he couldn't find the person who was directing so much killing intent at him.
Even though Zhao Luo wanted to find the one who was directing such a murderous gaze at him but he couldn't care much about it since they were in a place where any mishap would be stopped even before it could happen.
Zhao Luo turned his focus on Feng Mei.
Feng Mei left Zhao Luo's embrace and blushed a little. Even though she was so young but it felt nice hugging such a handsome guy.
"Is everything okay now?"
Zhao Luo asked while looking at Feng Mei.
He still couldn't forget about the look on the Little Queen's face when one of her subordinates had whispered something in her ear.
Zhao Luo still had a clear image of the sight of Feng Mei's lonely back when she had left the Sect Building.
"Brother, don't worry. I am strong."
Feng Mei said as she showed Zhao Luo a cute smile.
'How can I believe that?'
Zhao Luo felt his heart shaking.
Even though his little sister said that everything was fine but how could he ignore the despairing look in her eyes.
"Feng Mei is the Strongest."
Zhao Luo cheered her as he patted her head.
He knew that she wasn't ready to share her problems with anyone yet. So he decided to give Feng Mei the time she needs. He could only cheer and support her from the sidelines.
While everyone had thinks they were still talking about with each other, the Second Elder went inside the teleportation circle.
"Clap, Clap."
A loud clapping sound echoed in the building as everyone focused on the Second Elder.
"Everyone bid farewell to your families and friends and be ready to look at your future. Gather around me. It's time."
The Second Elder announced. It was finally time to teleport to the Sect.
Zhao Luo clenched his fists as he moved in the circle with his friends.

Force Majeure: A web novel
In the Qursan Empire, the grey walls of the city press down on its subjects. It is a highly divided society which is based on the magical strength of its citizens. While the most powerful are trained as Mages, the majority of citizens use their limited skills with essence to power the city in their assigned jobs. Jano is pretty much the lowest of the low in the Qursan Empire. A Class Ten citizen forced into transitory work after having his power restricted. When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. Please note this is an edited version of my story ‘city of captives’. It follows a similar structure but I’ve ironed out some of the kinks. If you read that version, much of this will be similar though there are some differences. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! If you enjoy this, consider following me on Instagram by just searching Crow J Williams.
